Do you understand he is 16 and his cousin is 14, they came home with out bikes, so his parents called the cops. He had no intention of calling the cops. (as far as I know). He could have lied about the missing bikes, but since he didn't his parents called the cops, just as any parents with half a brain would.

Personally I think morrgista should have the charges changed to probation or just a simple restraining order, and nothing more. The guy was drunk and people do dumb shit when they are drunk. Two years for bikes is shit.

It was dumb to go to a bad part of town for drugs, but I know what it is like to be desperate for drugs in a bad part of town.

He didn't fucking rip us off, he fucking robbed us. he destroyed the rest of my summer, and put me in a fucking mess for 4 months. he also stole two bikes, which I FUCKING HAVE TO PAY FOR BECAUSE THEY WEREN'T MINE.

obviously you don't know the situation. in no way can you call me a narc. i'm 16. told my parents my bikes were stolen, and my money. what'd you expect? there the ones who called the cops, therefore that gets rid of the idea that i even come close to narcing them

I cannot possibly see how you can be proud of throwing people in prison.

I've had people pull knives on me, did I call the cops on them? No.

I've been ripped off in drug deals... did I call the cops on them? No.

I've even had a gun pulled out on me, all of my money, my wallet, my IDs, and so on stolen. I had to call the cops because I needed to claim a stolen foreign ID, but I still didn't go out seeking revenge like some faggot. I was in a bad part of town and I knew that I was taking the risk of getting robbed.

One day you might go to jail... for something stupid like stealing a bike or smoking pot... then we'll see how you like it.

 

I can not agree with you more here. Morrgista really needs to drop the charges. 2 years in jail is going to suck for the guy, and that is a lot of time for bikes. Small crimes aren't worth jail time. If you are scared of him coming after you, you have the restraining order and all is well.

 

you realise, that guy's like this need to be locked away. the cops said he's one of the guys who wouldn't hesistate to kill someone of they agitated him a bit. ye it makes a lot of fucking sense to leave him on the streets...

and was i the one who got him arrested?? NO. it was the result of the photolineup. do you think i coulda predicted that he would have been in jail? no, i thought he would've stayed on the street.

Then at least drop the charges to probation. Then if he acts up again, he will be fucked. If he is really as bad as he sounds, then he will do something worse, and get a longer sentence.

You cannot possibly imagine all that the guy has experienced, all the he has lived. He might have a family somewhere, he has friends. You just took him away from all of that... for a bike?

The fact that he wouldn't hesitate to kill someone only means that he's a badass... but, yet again. No one stabs a white kid in the ghetto over a bike. (or two white kids over two bikes). There's too much to loose.
