Girls like him so it's in his label's best interest to have him show some skin. Most pics of him pass the a 12 year old can hang this on her bedroom wall test. She sees enough to excite her and concern dad but it's not porn and he can't put his finger on why. He just does not have a shirt one, guys do that all the time.

I did do that search, and all I came up with was spy photos. If that's what proves he's an exhibitionist, I'm not convinced! What Britney Spears or Miley Cyrus or Rihanna do, they do in public and they (or their publicity machines) want everyone to see them, so I think you could sling accusations at them too. But with these performers, it's all a game to make them appear endlessly fascinating. We seem to be falling for it, don't we?

is that really true though? i thought that entire genre was aimed at the same group of preteens.

I don’t think I can name one Justin Bieber song and I like it that way.

The only thing I know about him were the news reports I read of him assaulting a paparazzi, egging some neighbors house,
and a recent DUI when his mugshot appeared on the smoking gun

Britney Spears is 36 years old and has been a popular singer for 20 years. Her fans are obviously much older than preteens. I doubt most preteens even know who Britney Spears is. Rihanna is black and does R&B, hip-hop dance music. So no, her target audience is different as well. Justin Bieber is for the teenyboppers.

 

Not the pics I’m talking about though, which arguably are pornographic. Which kind of brings up an interesting point. Does he really still pass the “it’s okay” test?

 

The reason you see so many half naked Bieber pics (official and unofficial) is because it makes his 'brand' stronger. He's a very typical and generic popstar. Its not a coincidence young girls find him the sexiest thing on earth. Its also not a coincidence all these images of him are out there. Its impossible to say what is real or genuine about him and his behavior (if you don't know him in person). He is a professional poser

I don't think the target audiences between Britney Spears and Justin Bieber are that different in age. It's just that she came like a decade earlier. So nowadays most of her fans (or better put: people still willing to see her live) would be in their twenties.

 

Don’t you mean 30s-40s? She came out 20 years ago, so most of her fans wouldn’t be in their 20s (unless she was singing to infants). I mean, she was more back in my generation and I’m almost 40. I’d say the average Britney fan is 35, whereas the average Bieber fan is probably closer to 17-22.

 

If you’ve read ANY news about him at all, then you can absolutely name one or more of his songs. Because every article I’ve ever seen written about him at some point refers to him as “the ‘Baby’ singer”, or “the ‘insert popular Bieber song title here’ singer”. He’s had a bunch of number one hits for years, so in order to never have heard a Bieber song, you literally have to have actively avoided radio! Off the top of my head:

Baby
Boyfriend
What Do You Mean
Sorry
Love Yourself
Despacito

I’m sure I’m forgetting a bunch but you get the idea.

 

I may be of a decade. Not really into pop music or radio stations that play this stuff

Correction - you have to have avoided pop radio - something I do at almost all costs. Until I saw your list I couldn't have named a Bieber song. Something I'm fairly proud of.

 

I also could only name one song. Not because i knew the title, but i would have guessed because the word baby is so much in it.
