Fuck Universal Laws and other laws for that matter....i used to not follow rules, and then i started worrying about them, as for now, iam worrry free A law of the universe that i would follow would be to be happy and to care...The rest does not bother me as much
Im not saying nothing bad will ever happen. Life has many obstacles, bad things are usually what causes ones being to evolve. Most the time though if you do good things, good things will come your way. Well rather the intent of the thing your doing, if it is for good intentions then good things come your way. But if you can really find peace within yourself you attract peace all around, then there is no worry about karma, just peace vibrating through out you. does this mean () im close? or closed?
Allright, but now what happens when I go out and test this in the real world, in a nice little study where I have a control group and my G group, and the control group goes about their life normally and we measure what they do (somehow) and what "karma" gives them (somehow), and group G goes out and does much more "good" things (whats a good thing?) to the world, and we measure what "karma" gives them (somehow). Do you really really actually think that group G will receive more "good" in their life randomly, not by virtue of easily identifiable causal routes of events (Ie, give 5$ to a bum, hot girl sees you doing this, asks you out, whatever), but through an odd bombardment of random positive life events? Because if you really actually think that group G will magically have more "good" happen in their life because they input more "good" into the system (and please you'll have to explain this whole "good" and "bad" action/motive/desire thing) then I'm afraid I see no difference between believing that and believing that god is your personal father and your race is the chosen race. It's just a random statement that you arbitrarily assign a positive truth-value to, with no indications of its existence in reality. these studies have been done in the past by the way, and guess what their shocking results were . . .
Well first i must clear up that there is no real good or bad thing. It is your intention that is considered good or bad. Killing someone because you have the desire to see bloodshed is a bad thing, killing someone who was about to blow up a building with a thousand innocent people in it would probably be good thing. Intentionality is the Free Will of your consciousness. Most of the events in your life are unavoidable, they just seem to happen, what your intentions are in a situation determine how the situation plays out though. It would be hard to do a group study because karma is usually personal. Also karma doesn't always reward or punish you with an objective situation. The reward can be a relaxation of mind, or breath of peace in your being. Ever notice some people say, "the world is shit, all life does is shit on you and shit on you, you think you can get out of it, but no life will shit on you every moment it gets." Then there are others who say, "Aww what another beautiful day, life has given me another chance to breath that beautiful air, and smell those wonderful roses. Life is bliss." The people who preach that life is shit, get more and more shit piled on them, and when the shit comes their intention is to run from it, and only more shit comes. The people who preach life is love, more and more love flows their way, then they give more and more love, there intention is spreading this peace, and with that peace comes. Karma is not the final law of the land though. There are many things beyond karma that constitute what you do and do not receive in life. Like i said there are many obstacles. The broken man is given a box of cookies, maybe it will give him the idea that life is not so bad. The loving man is given a room full crying babies, for him a chance to bring love where this is none. Again it lies in the intention of the situation, of both oneself, and whatever the cosmic powers are orchestrating.
shit now I got some on me here's a thought: good karma is "allowing" bad karma is "resisting" but neither exists, because you can allow resisting and resist allowing I used to think that, and I kept thinking that, then I hit rock bottom and stayed there, now everything's looking up
But isn't it odd that the system of actions that you believe this universe is governed by is suspiciously similar to basically every human code of conduct ever? Obviously we can't "know" karma, so it is not that our code of conduct has been modeled after it, which is impossible, but rather that your definition of "karma" is simply a metaphysical amalgamation of global moral trends. To a degree, yes . . . so now you define karma as when i kiss my lover and i can tell it fills her with warmth, then i am "by karma" filled with warmth? You really don't see how you can just drop this middle "karma" variable and just see everything in direct contact? Why have this cosmic invisible middleman to handle "intentions" and "consequences". A dropped cup breaks, without the help of anything. Yes but this is just basic self-fulfilling prophecy, explainable by any first year psychology student. If you go around life with an negative attitude, your attitude affects you as well, and so you affect yourself negatively. Again, no mysterious "karma". Obstacles to what?
It fits our moral values because when we do the right thing we feel good and when we do the wrong thing we feel bad. We base our morals on what feels right. Karma can be considered simple action-reaction, as well as dynamic action reaction. Karma is also physical and mental as well. So if being with your lover is heart warming, being with her is your action, and your heart warming is the reaction. The same applies to her. The cup hitting the floor is the action, the cup breaking is the reaction. No cosmic middle man, just a system of balancing energy. Well that is the psychology of man, yes. But it goes deeper then psychology. Your being attracts what it puts out, and that applies to your thoughts. You are doing more then just thinking shit, your attracting the shit your thinking. Obstacles are anything in our everyday life that we must overcome. There events placed upon us to help better us and to learn from it. They are significant if you take from it what is needed to be learned. Ever notice some kind of struggle put in your path, something that you have no way to get around, a whole series of events happens, and nothing really makes sense until after its over? But when its over your a little more humble, you got a little less money in your pocket but a little more gratefullness in your heart, your friends and family become a little bit closer, you walk a little bit slower and take in a little bit more afterward. Life is a SCHOOL, of course there is going to be TESTS! Be AWARE! Please don't take things so heavy. Im a not a karmic scientist, i havent been studying interdimensional causality in college. Im just giving you the basic ideas on how a karmic system works.
I'm not sure that one could have an entire degree in karma, a course would suffice. The more you explain what Karma is the more it sounds like literally nothing. It sounds like simply another word for "what happens". Can you explain how "karma" and "what happens" are different?
That's how I feel about most of the "gurus" out there; they use a lot of words and really deep esoteric sounding terms but really don't say a fucking thing of any real substance. I watched a couple of youtube videos I believe you linked to by some guy called "mooji" I think. He is great example of what I mean, lot's of words, not much substance. Don't take offense, the core message of most of them is good, they just remind me of how the early catholic church would only read/recite the bible in latin to keep the mystery from the common man and maintain a position of control over the church. May not seem as obvious but bear in mind these "gurus" have a vested interest in keeping thier followers coming back to them for answers. Regardless of what it seems those guys are just fleecing people just as much as someone like Benny Hin. It's funny how often Bible verses come to mind; 2 Timothy 4:2-4 (New International Version) 2Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. 3For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
right/wrong are just forms of population control, man therefore there is no right or wrong...it's true
The opposite of a correct statement is a false statement. But the opposite of a profound truth may well be another profound truth. -neils bohr
Nice quote ! I love how the world of physics is slowly using science to arrive at some of the aspects of reality that religions and shamanism have been saying for eons. Mr. Writer, have you ever read a book called "The Dancing Wu LI Masters" ? I read way back in the seventies, it deals with the parralels of quantum physics and Eastern religion/yoga/meditation. I'll have to dig into the vast expanse of stuff none as my garage and see if I can find it now. Worthy of a re-read now that I think of it.
