Gorsuch wasn't accused and assaulted by the Dems during his conformation hearing. He might be an asshole too for all we know. Rally the left to attack him and see how it goes.
None of these were during Trumps administration and none were going to swing the majority views for the next few decades. And if Hatch knew a good candidate then, he hasn't lost his mind since then.
Reports are also saying that Ford wanted to be interviewed. Wait.....Does she wish to change testimony or did she just re-remember something? If she had something to say, that was the reason they got here there last week. With 20 days of prep time. Sad is right.
And neither of them were assailed in a way that Kavanaugh has been. No questionable allegations about their behavior as young people were made about them. No senator, when their nomination was announced, was quoted as saying we will do everything we can to delay and block this appointment. The same senators who have looked the other way when other serious allegations have been made (Bill Clinton, Corey Booker, Keith Ellison), some of them with far more evidence than what has been presented against Kavanaugh, want to stop his confirmation. Politics is a dirty ugly business and we are seeing it practiced at its nastiest.
You Dems may be needing to thank Trump. His bonehead comments made against Ford may have just pissed off the few Republicans he needed to vote for Kavenaugh enough that they might not now. If that's so maybe he will learn to control himself a bit better. They seemed pretty upset by it. Rightfully so.
650+ law professors agree with me. They signed a letter to the Senate saying that Kavanaugh shouldn't be confirmed because he lacks the judicial temperament to be a Supreme Court Justice.
I wonder if they are changing their minds or never got asked until this week? And all in onr law school or Nationwide? I'm glad you got 650 people to agree with you. You really only need 52.

A few days ago Trump said the FBI has free reign to conduct an investigation into Kavanaugh's high school and college activities. It seems the FBI did not interview key witnesses, even persons who called them to offer information. This tells me Trump lied to the American people; moreover, it tells me Chuck Schumer is correct about Trump's wish to have Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court, to protect him from impeachment and criminal charges.
