That plant was only about half way through the grow cycle when that pic was taken. It got much bigger.

Those were grown outdoors from day one. Planted early may, and harvest by July 31. They were Cannabis Ruderalis, autoflowering with no official veg cycle. I had some that were little christmas trees coming out of the ground 10'' tall.

These pics taken in june when the buds first showed up.

 

what zone you live in? did you grow a pot plant with low thc content on purpose?

No. It was a cross of some kind I am sure of so the quality was better. I assure you, the content wasn't low enough to notice. I bought some really good buds like 3 or 4 years ago, like really good. I got home and found over 200 seeds in a half ounce of suppose to be seedless bud. Rather than get pissed, I just looked at it like I just got tons of good seeds to grow with.

It wasn't intentional by any means. They are great to have around to get some smoke before the big ones come in late October. More like a novelty thing. But you put them in the ground thinking one things, and you swear your going crazy when you see sex organs in June...makes for an interesting find.
