    I have to disagree.

My feet are cleaner than the chef's shoes. I don't see "it's not proper" as a reason either, by that sort of logic, we're living 200 years ago, in which case the health department might also have an issue with black cooks.

To all of you who know and meet those "laws" and regulations, well that's the point of that sites letters..... Many, if not most, would go "but it's the law", even if they had no idea. I'm currently banned from (unshod) entry into too many places to count on all my fingers, all of them citing the health department (except the newest addition to the list, my college library, who said that I could get hurt and sue them..... I said that if I got hurt it was my own doing, and the woman said "no" and walked off..... I have no intention in obeying)

I've been meaning to print a few copies of my state's letter for a while, there's a few places that I need to delver a copy, with a nice note saying that if it's not current enough I can personally write the health department for them, but they shall need a real rule of their own, because the health department doesn't seem to think I'm rule-worthy.

It's gross because the worst you can carry in on your shoes is what's naturally outside (unless you're randomly walking around in toxic or nuclear waste) but your feet have bacteria and fungus and nasty shit on them. It's just as foul as people who touch their feet, or ass, puss, dick, nose, ears, armpits, or just about anything else as disgusting as that and then precede to touch other things. If it's that big a deal and you want your feet to be 'free' just put on a pair of flip flops to keep your feet bacteria off of a place where other people need/deserve a healthy environment or in high traffic areas
