Gotta agree with Turn Up on the fatal flaw; besides kiddos learn how to use the shitters pretty fast, especially if their parents are using them & most of the time the Kiddie Villiage shitters are built with little ones in mind. Course, for girls, it's a easier if they wear dresses or skirts (big girls & little girls!)
I printed out a copy of the rainbow mini manual (good homeschooling reading practice for the kids ... hee hee hee) and under shitter inf. it states that the shitter is ONLY for shitting, not urinating. I never knew this. Just an interesting, odd tid bit of inf. to toss out there. I've saved rinsed out plastic orange juice & milk jugs (1/2 gallon size) for latrine use at night. Funny how body functions can be some a topic, eh?! hee hee. Anyone here heading to the alternative gathering in Missouri? Anyone been to it before? If so, what is your take on the location & experience? We decided, with a bit of sadness, to attend the alternative instead. It is closer & flatter ... my hubby has a bum knee and is real concerned about hiking in CO. I was pretty sad about the decision at first, however it is still family & we will less likely experience knee complications.
