I thought we had a long arguement where you adamantly expressed the opposite opinion than this and tryed to say there was no perceptable difference between the black album and AJFA!

There's no question that they are quite similar, though the black album caught with the public and changed the individuals, and so they've never been the same.

Perhaps you understand what I'm saying now?

I do understand you a bit better, but I still think those two albums are radicaly different.

They are different, Justice was a oddly mixed progressive thrash metal masterpiece, whereas the black album was a clean cut produced, watered/slowed down more commercial metal(not really thrash) release.

Motorbreath has to be my favorite from kill em all. i saw 'em live in D.C. for the world magnetic tour and that song was amazing!

Meh. Never really been a metallica fan. When I was 6 my cousin showed me Slayer and Metallica seemed kind of weak after that

The riffs are too similar, black album comes across as slower played leftovers to me.

"oddly" is a helluva way to say poorly. Wheres the bass?

Kill em All is great. Whiplash has got to be one of my favourite songs ever. Motorbreath is sick too. The whole album is awesome.

Unfortunately the great Metallica does not exist anymore, this is how I prefer to think of Metallica. :)

    Yeah.

I just think of them in seperate era's. Kind of like Sabbath... Except I like the other Sabbath's.

Anyway I'm glad with the 22 seconds in Death Magnetic that I thought could sound like classic Metallica.

That's all I asked for, one more good riff and they did it.

this thread has two eras, too.. the pre magnetic and post magnetic. cuz death magnetic contained half of a song that was good. (the second half of day that never comes.). so now theres a small glimmer of hope for metallica.

as long as James h SHUTS THE FUCK UP thell be allright i guess
