Labrinyth...The Cube....and Dark Crystal

Yeah those three are favourites of mine. The Cube did well considering it's humble roots.. I haven't seen the sequel to it. I'm afraid it will ruin it.

 

I've got the labriynth on tape, and i've seen the dark crystal...a LONG time ago. I like both of them. Whats the cube about? Is it as old as the others?

 

Watch the Cube !!!! Don't ask or read the back of the DVD or vid , ( I didn't ) I just WATCHED . It is a strange experience

 

The labryinth sparked many not-entirely-pure thoughts about david bowie when i was like 11. NOt sure why but i just think he's sex in spandex in that movie. heehee. Aside from that though, it is on my top 10 fave movies list.

 

Labrynth is great, it's got Jennifer Connely and David Bowie's bulge. It doesn't get any hotter than that.


Dark Crystal is amazing.

Cube sucks. The movie is alright, but it was a total copout ending.

 

The point was that someone got out. But to who knows what? A lab rat Xperiment was the point

 

I liked the fact that 1 AND ONLY 1 person got out......

I also liked the fact that it was the retard who had no ill will towards the group, and no real desire to escape the "exciting new world of mystery" that got out.

The rest of the group collapsed inward on itself. Btw there selfishness and there insecurities they were unable to escape THEMSELVES......UNLIKE THE RETARD.

Endings don't suck just because YOU don't get anything out of them

The Dark Crystal is just a fantastic movie, IMO. A Jim Henson classic for real (oh yes and the original Muppet Movie from the freakin 70's). The Electric Mayhem is the coolest name
But DC, for those whom are Fairy admirers if you don't know had a great artist doing the original story board and art work along with Mr. Henson-Brian Froud! Oh man, his work is marvolous! I also enjoyed Labyrinth-David Bowie...mmmmMMMmmmmm!

Never heard of the Cube. Sounds like I don't wanna hear about it either. Another great creation I agree is the first Neverending Story. As a kid I used to pretend I was in the book with all the creatures. I know it didn't do so hot but Legend is like my favorite movie because it has unicorns in them. Again, I used to wish I lived in forest with Jack and all the magical folks, creatures, and goblins

All those were big influences on me to use my imagination when writing.

ha we played the labrinyth drinking game the other night - have a drink whenever anyone says 'sarah' or 'toby' or if you see david bowie's package pants.

I don't know the Cube but I love Labryinth and Dark Crystal

 

All you peeps, Watch cube . It is an ace mind bender . I got the DVD for £5 in a second hand trading shop. I had not seen it b4 that, but it is ACE .
