Yeah, I am not enamoured with the "unassisted childbirth" movement. It is one of the reasons I don't read or write for Compleate Mother anymore. Womyn need someone to help them, midwife or doctor or nurse, someone. I just feel there is that 10% chance that something will go wrong. (different thread, really.) We want them to share the load. Have them do the laundry, the dishes and help with the older kids. No reason to have your milk supply suffer because he's on a Tom Cruise "anything she can do, I can do" kick.
