What does being gay have to do with anything? ...... because by this logic ^ men can be sexist to men and women can be sexist to women. anyways you are too quick to label me. have a nice day
Anybody can be sexist to anybody. The point he was making is that by definition, if you accept one sex calling you a name but are offended when another gender calls you the same thing......that's sexism. I'm not placing any labels on you. I'm just looking for clarification because a lot of what you say isn't very clear to me.
Can be cleared up in my first post. Was wondering how it makes people feel. And conclusion seems to be some care and some don't. The conclusion also seems to be that the ones who do care are shunned or labeled somehow by the rest. Clearly being respectful is a better way to act to a stranger...but whatev.
It's not about all men. It's about a select few guys who think women are their minions. These men exist. I can't imagine you would know how it feels. But encountering these men is like being treated like you are a dumb child. To them you are lowly and you are just a pretty face and a nice ass. Your brain means nothing. These guys do exist. It's not a myth. Similar guys are the kind that will punch a woman in the face or beat her. It's not all men. But they make life awkward. They make my blood boil when they try their shit on me. That's all.
For myself it is a tone that is offensive. If someone uses a term and it is done as second nature to them it does not come across the same way as someone making a point of trying to be a bit smart with it or nasty. You can usually tell those who use a term as second nature as they do so without thought. The others usually have to work too hard to come up with what they think is cute.
