LADIES: how many dreads on your head? How fat?

i have about 80 dreads. one or two are really tiny, like a toddlers pinky finger, a few are as big as my thumb, the rest are somewhere in between. doesn't seem to have much to do with where they are on my head. although the ones at the back are shorter and more dreaded so far, as i sleep on my back. probably looks pretty stupid. like some kind of backwards mullet. short stumpy dreads at the back, long ones at the front. teehee.

I have just under 40 dreads.

I have somewhere around 120 locks. I haven't been able to accurately count them, but I bought metal clips in two packages of 80 for when my girlfriend re-twists my locks at the root and there were about 40 clips left in the 2nd container when she was done.

edit: as for thickness, somewhere between a no.2 pencil and a regular sized sharpie or maybe one of those pentel RSVP pens.

 

I'm a guy, but my locks range from quite thin to medium-large, being natural.

I wish I could find a girl with fat dreads... Unless your really set on pleasing him with the size of your dreads, those look awesome to me.

 

My daughter just counted mine - - I have 29. I also have an undercut, so a lot of hair is missing [which makes me wonder how many I'd have if I stopped shaving it].

I have one big fatty on my right side, a few skinnies in the front & the rest are about the thickness of a sharpie, I'd guess. The length on mine are all different too [most likely because my hair was layered when I started].

I like the color on yours; it's real pretty. And they look really smooth. A lot of mine are pretty lumpy.

 

I'm a guy, but I have around 37. I used to think that they were too fat and gappy, but I just let them be and am quite happy with 'em now. Wait till yours grow out longer and it wont be so obvious with that extra length.

i have 48! my hairs preeetty thick, most are chunky and fat but i have some smallies too.
i don't think you should comb them and start again,they look beautiful

i have around 50.... some as fat is my thumb... most as fat as my index finger and some even as skinny as the power cord for my laptop (closest comparison i could think of haha)
they're all slowly slowly fattening up... when i sectioned i wanted more skinny dreads as opposed to less fat dreads... but it's all personal preference really

 

I have ~ 50, and they vary in widths. Some are like a thumb, and some are smaller then my pinky. Most are lumpy/loopy, so I will have some that are super tiny in most of it, then have a big fat knot near the bottom, or some are massively wide and flat.
