well, the past two years weren't sold out at all although the second fest had at least a few thousand in total... this year i'm not 100% sure just because of much more promotion and it's a two day festival. i'd say just to be safe, you may want to get tickets before february comes around... unless you volunteer and you can go for free, like me...
go to www.langerado.com and click on the 'NEWS' link. Late night shows at The Culture Room have just been announced! Soulive, New Monsoon and Particle and more playing aftershows!
i bought my langerado ticket today! it coencides with my spring break perfectly. i'm coming from austin & am meeting up with some of my friends in dallas to head to florida--i'm not sure yet if i can afford to fly or if the looooonnng trip on the grayhound will be necessary. i have a 9 person tent though, so anyone who might need a place to crash is welcome to if there's room! i CANNOT wait
hey court! I've been meaning to call you but have been doing a bit of travelling back and forth between austin and places.. anyway, I'm so excited you are going to langerado mama! I'm thinking about trying to go myself so maybe I'll see you there! ::hugs:: Miss you!
yeah.. with spearhead and newmonsoon.. I'm gonna try my best... *sigh* I hate all this cold weather.. I want to be somewhere warm and barefoot dancing under the sweet blue sky!
heh, you just described part of my experience last year... it was the most perfect march day, not a cloud in the sky, about 78 degrees. you couldn't have a festival in a better environment.
marci, let's go! we can have a mini bonnaroo reunion and wreak havoc on florida! (just kidding)...i can't wait--the gloomy weather of winter can't go away soon enough. and the lineup is amazing. does anyone have any more information on the camping there? is it first come, first served or should i be looking into making reservations or something?
from what I understand there is some camping nearby (though I don't know HOW near) but it does fill up fast so I guess reservations are required. I'm not sure about hotels.. I'd rather camp anyway... hell, I'd sleep in my car if it came down to it so I could go. are you flying court or driving? I'll probably buy my ticket in a few weeks ... as soon as I know if I can go for sure.
i think i'll probably either crash here or on the beach... only reason i don't wanna stay here is because it's like an hour and a half away.
i'd rather camp in the park, just because it would be great to be able to crash close by after all the music is over without having to worry about transportation or traffic or sobriety ... marci-i don't know how we're getting there yet. i don't think a lot of people want to spend money on a plane, so maybe the greyhound? i'll let you know. that weekend is also the beginning of my spring break, so it would be cool (as long as we're in fl.) to chill on the beach for a couple of days afterward...i'll let you know how the plans go!
well the only problem that I want to let you folks know about, book a camping spot ahead of time b/c this festival is during spring break in florida and you dont want to get there and have to find an avalible spot somewhere else.
MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Miami Musician tons of other kids from UM a bunch of my friends from Philly and many many more.... ....so thats like....25 that I can name haha
i know bout you, miami, nest, me but was wonderin if anyone else from the forums was goin. so you must be taken a load down. you're in philly now right?

you should hear something within the next week or so to at least be informed that they received it. You wont know your volunteer schedule til a few weeks before the festival. If you are concerned at all or just want to make sure, e-mail Seth. His e-mail is on the Langerado website.
