    Fluently, just english

I know greek well, but not at a fluent level. I can read it though, just dont always know what Im reading.

French I know sub par to greek, but Im hoping to change that by taking some french classes. Actually, I was just thinking of taking up classes again in both languages so I can really pick them up.

used to be pretty fluent in french, but havent used it in ages, so i've lost quite a bit of my expressive ability with the language. used to dream in french. can still understand a lot now though. when i was fluent in french i could understand my spanish speaking coworkers pretty well, now i have no clue when i hear spanish being spoken.

amerengrish is about it. i know terms for stuff about trains and railroading in several languages, and maybe a few other of the odd esotiric kinds of things that interest me, but the kind of more general kinds of things you need to know to carry on any kind of even semi-intelligent conversation i've never been able to remember in any language other then the one i grew up in.

i regret this certainly. but tecnology and nature have always interesting me more then human society.

and i don't know too many words or phrases about nature in other languages either

i was once upon a time fluent in french. dunno why is faded so easily, since it was so easy to learn. i barely spoke english as a child, being surrounded by french and spanish creoles. so picking up both languages and understanding enough to get by is about all i can really claim. though for some reason lately i'm picking things up much faster than i used to. i think the grade school/high school/college burnout is fading. i had a professor for a dad and to be honest, the thought of picking up even one more intellectually sound book gives me hives. but i think i'm prime to learn something. might as well be spanish. that would be cool. knowing other languages really changes your perception of the world.
