Okay, I'm coming out of hiding for this topic because it is so important to me.

shadowd_dreamr, you have absolutely no reason to be ashamed of what you did. It literally brings a smile to my face to hear that you overcame that perv's attempt to rape you. I am proud of you, and anyone else with a brain would be too. Someone close to me didn't overcome her attacker, and then I wasn't there for her when she needed me to be. This is a mistake I will never make again. To the other ladies in this thread who were raped, my heart goes out to you. I know I'm probably not the person you want to talk to about this, but feel free to PM or IM me for moral support. I happen to think that rape is the lowest, most disgusting crime a person can commit, and that in some ways it is even worse than murder.

partying is fun, meeting people is fun, but as a young woman you have to always be aware that most guys are gonna want to slepp with you, and a great many of them will rape you. im sorry that this is how people are, and it makes it hard to open up to the nice guys because the A-holes act nicer, its hard to tell. good luck

No offense , but drinking and doing drugs in a area you are unfamiliar with as well as having people who are your so called friends ditch you isn't cool but walking w/some stranger in the middle of no where is pretty stupid. Drunk or not! You were very lucky this time and I'm happy you ended up having most likely only a hangover, But next time you may not be!!! I know I'm 3 times 7 plus, and you probably don't want to hear from a mom, but if you don't get your shit together you may not live untill your 21st birthday. Getting stoned and drunk is great, I still do it at 38, but I also am responsible for my actions and I make sure that the company I keep are people who are friends, you know the ones who watch out for each other. I know a lot of the teens and early 20 somethings on this forum want to try out their wings and stuff but let me tell you something "You can't relive our past (60's & early 70's)". So stop trying and make history your selves being alive in 10yrs. won't be an option if you keep doing this shit irresponsibly!!! Party but watch who and what your with. The guy (stranger) who offers to help you at a party (rave) by taking a walk to help clear your head is 99% of the time a jerk. If you want to clear your head or sober up, get some sleep, drink coffee, or eat something, walking doesn't sober you up, it makes the buzz go faster to your head.

All I said was, you've got problems if you hang out with people who get messed up on drugs and leave you wandering in the forest late at night. Dunno about you but I look out for my people dammit. Ditto if you get warped on drugs and wander through a forest late at night. Had she run into a black bear, wolf or some other animal, she'd have been as toast, or if she'd accidentally fallen down a ravine and been lost for days.

I'm merely saying choose a better venue and better friends if you're gonna do that stuff.

you know I have been reading alot of these forums, but I finally have to say something to these teens who think they can do anything and be invinceable! Not all the teens who post on here , but some, If you keep thinking your invinceable and telling us (true hippees) who have lived it what a great feeling it is to be so stoned and drunk out of our minds, that we are not responsible for our actions. Man or Woman you got a problem! I have read kids 14,15, are having sex w/muiltiple partners, having unsafe sex, getting stoned, drunk, whatever and act like this is so ok? Getting high on weed is fine but doing Ecstasy, shrooms, acid and shit like this is just unbeleivable!!! You teens need to stop and think what your doing and the repercussions it causes. Or is it a lot of you think mommy and daddy will be there to bail you out? Well they can't help you if you're dead. I agree w/the gentleman who stated about what if this girl ran into a bear, wolf, etc. Who then would of realized you were gone. Grow up young people and take responsibility for your actions. If you want to be treated like a grown-up then act like one!!! All I am trying to say is think before you act!!! Keep the peace and you might live a little longer.

The people I was with are not the usual type of people I hang out with from day to day. They just invited me to a rave, and then left me after they got high..

I was totally bored and I didnt know where any of my friends had gone too.. So when I seen this guy I just figured, ok this guy looks safe enough, I will chat with him... And he was nice, at the begining... Then he got kinda agressive..

I wish that I had some Good friends to look out for me, but that wasnt an option at the time. This was my first time EVER doing a hard drug like ecstasy, so I was totally fucked up.. Maybe this is my fault...


.. I am not a "druggy" by the way.. the only drug I have ever done befor that night was weed...

I had no intention to have sex with anyone that night, I just went to dance and hang out with friends, maybe make a few new ones... What does being a teen have to do with anything? This wasnt a "big ass sex and drug rave" as you put it.. it was just a rave, have you even ever been to one?? Geez, go fall in a hole..

I know. All I'm saying is to avoid this in the future, pick your friends carefullly. I've been alive coming on four decades. I have two friends. That goes to show you how many people you can truly count on.

 

i get exactly what your saying and know how you feel. if people in this thread want to attack or put the blame on you then dont worry about it. you really dont need to explain yourself to them anymore. what i learned from my experience is to be more cautious and aware of my surroundings. its a hard lesson some of us have to learn

 

We called them parties and we went as a group and left as one. FRiends don't let friends get out of their sight when together. You went for the 1st. time great. Have you learned your lesson? I hope so. Alot of us have been there and done that and we are trying to say have fun, be young, but be in control, or at least make sure that the company you keep, is watching out for each other!!

If you wanna walk around the streets at 3am, make sure people know where you are and you're with enough people (straight, solid, dependable) that if something heavy or physical goes down you'll be OK.

Always have at least one sober person with you no matter where you go, even if you're drinking.

Always have some means of communication, e.g. a cellphone.

Just use common sense. Go with people you know - and make sure that even if you want to go somewhere more private you'll be within earshot of someone who can take the guy's head off if need be.
