i feel ya there booga. i don't call back unless they leave a message. even if it's someone i know, if it's unknown number then i never will. i figure if it's important enough for you to call me 5 times then you should leave a message.

a few of my friends always do that and it shits me.. they'll call about 6 times and not leave a message because they don't want to, they'd rather just keep calling in the hope that i'll pick up. so i let it ring.

I hate people leaving messages. I am on pay as you go at the moment and poeple keep purposely leaving me messages which are just stupid. It charges me to listen to them, and to delete them. If I ignore them my phone keeps messenger me to remind me, and if someone does leave an important message, I have to listen to about 10 bollocks one until I can get to the last one

by this point, at like a quid a minute, I haven't got any credit left

I keep getting voice mails from a shop in Scotland. No matter how many times I tell them they have the wring number, they keep leaving me messages

But, at work I would often turn off my voice mail if they wanted to go somewhere else for the day, so they wouldn't be able to tell me and would have to go to someone else :D

we used to have a number that started 446 and a dentist had a number that was 449.. we both had the last same 4 digits. we'd get messages all the time for the dentist. i remember one from a lady going on and on about her broken tooth. i wonder if she ever got it fixed..

I was getting some paperwork done buying a truck from a friend yesterday (he runs a car lot) and he calls a guy on speakerphone while we're talking...the guys answering machine picks up and my buddy waits 5 seconds then leaves a message

he says "bye"..and then hangs up

Those answering machines do seem awfully real these days. :D

I haven't checked my messages for a week. I almost did today, but failed.[IMG]

I always check caller ID before I pick up any call too to make sure it's not a telemarketer or angry customer out for blood.

I answer the phone usually bc it is usually doctors calling me and their numbers are never the same. but if it someone I know and I dont want ot talk to them I just wait for them to leave an message, and then call back if it is important.

Sometimes I just dont feel like talking on the phone.
