yes they are often very vulnerable but there are those who are rescuing them all the time - I think we are winning?

falling rocks was a bear. and one day he got lost in the woods.
but he had a lot of friends, who missed him very much,
so his friends put signs along the roads out in the woods,
that say "watch for falling rocks".

"angels" we have heard while high,
love to tell us what to buy,
seldom tell us how or why.

an uneasy calm in Hong Kong - Trump has muscled in with his support angering the Chinese, the young protesters are jubilant but there is thousands of dollars worth of damage ; arrests still being processed - so the beginning of progress or not??

HK update and demise! Trump has washed his hands of it and the rest of the world just watch and wait - but who knows what is happening behind the scenes throughout the embassy contacts throughout the world. But China will never give up - HK is China and in their opinion was stolen from them and then Taiwain is next and of course the south China Sea islands - watch this space and North Korea as well - now a capitalist focused country run as if communist - what a strange world we live in!!

nb: I still have friends in HK and they are not very optimistic at all about their futures - it could go at least two ways - China backs off from secret world pressure or just keeps persisting and finally gets its own way. It is at present attempting to sweeten the bitter pill with promises of covid 19 vaccines when it produces them for the rest of the globe - how kind!

I telephoned some chinese friends in HK last night and they exclaimed "don't worry about us everything is fine - if you don't break any laws it's the same old HK" - not really - a brave face I think? I can't see HK ever being the same - there are and have been red guard chinese soldiers stationed in HK for months and months now just waiting to pounce - the goose that laid the golden egg has been slaughtered
