well we did used to see you dashing off to dancing or holidays on the costa del sol all the time and never a minute for US!!

 

I will see if I can try and get the thing going again tomorrow.
In the meantime my friend, I have to shut this thing down now so I can have a couple of beers and my supper.

I've been searching for an old HK mate of mine for sometime now. on the net that is - with many dead ends but persistant fitz is me and today I got led to a webpage that seemed to describe his demise. it was a death notice in a USA newspaper which then lead to a notice from a funeral parlor. I am not 100% sure yet and have sent off an email to the funeral parlor asking them to forward my 'attached letter' to the adults that were named attended the funeral [family only] and asking them to say Hi - If it is him he would have died in 2004 being killed on a motorway pileup in the county he resided in the USA.

If it isn't in my search continues - it does sound so much like him but I am still not sure. He was a civil engineer in HK during my time there then I left went back a few yrs later for a hols and caught up with him again and met his new American wife so that bit fits. but she was not mentioned at all in the funeral notice - how strange - so it is still a mystery and I await the response from the funeral parlor

thanks but HK was a melting pot of 'lost souls' and many wandered off into the blue beyond - here today gone tomorrow - it was a fun place but often no consistency
