Oh wow! I really want to see the film, I've seen people in my school do it for their drama exam...it was set in one of the places I lived in! The place I can actually say I grew up in :D

Okay you guys, you got to comment, what is your Favorite Gay Themed Movie? Yea we get it....Broke Back Mountain...yea yea yea.

    Gimme something better than that.

My personal favorite is "Beautiful Thing".
These two straight teen boys who live in adjacent London apartments bunk up together because one has been kicked out of his flat by his single parent dad. After a GREAT message scene, they progressively start to fall for each other. The whole movie culminates in a slow dance in the middle of the street to the tune of "Dream a little dream of me"-by the Mamas and The Papas, a decidedly appropriate song considering this is the "Hip Forums". In fact the ENTIRE sound track is The Mamas and the Papas. This is owing to the fact that one of the boys' mutual friends, a black teen female, is obsessed with Mama Cass.

The Films greatest goodie is the makeout in the park scene to the tune of "Make your own kind of music".

"You had a way so familiar, but I could not recognize
'cause you had blood on your face, I had blood in my eyes
But I could swear by your expression that the pain down in your soul
was the same as the one down in mine."

I looove Hedwig and the Angry Inch I recommend it to everyone...the songs grow on you.

Transamerica was good, I liked it a lot. :)

    Advertising is not allowed here.

    What about

    Paragraph 175

it talks about the purge of gay people by nazis during WWII and how they got less than everyone else who was victimized during world war II.

I don't know how great this would be to put here, but RENT was pretty good and it was largely based around a gay couple.
I was going to say "but I'm a cheerleader," and "if these walls could talk," but they were already said.

Latter Days is really one of the only gay-related films I've seen, but it's definitely worth seeing. It was very moving.

It's a great movie. Have you seen "Gay Sex in the 70s"? It's a documentary, and it's really good even if some of it is a bit depressing. My dad also saw it, and he said he remembered a lot of that stuff.
