Conduct: In a continuing effort to provide comprehensive and thorough security, fans are encouraged to arrive as early as possible. Fans may not bring coolers, computers, or containers of any type into Fenway Park. Fans traveling directly from work are reminded to leave the items listed above at their place of business. No food can be brought into the ballpark, and only sealed bottled waters of 16oz. or less are allowed. Fans will NOT be permitted to store any of the prohibited items at Fenway Park. Video cameras are permitted but cannot be used to reproduce the game and must not interfere with other fans' enjoyment of the game. Any fan that directly or indirectly interferes with the enjoyment of the game will be promptly ejected from Fenway Park and may be subject to arrest and prosecution by the Boston Police. (Does this mean, because I hate those big foam NUMBER #1 fingers I can complain that the people using them in front of me are "directly or indirectly interfering with my enjoyment of the game"? How about if someone is wearing full orthodox Jewish garb and speaking in yiddish and that offends me because I'm islamic. Holy shit what if I see two gay guys holding hands at a game can i get them kicked out because it offends me and I can't enjoy the game? )Patrons are reminded that the Red Sox do not condone misbehavior of any kind. Fans are also reminded that anyone observed with offensive articles will be promptly ejected from the park. The Club is committed to maintaining a high level of morality (who's morality???) and denounces all forms of misconduct. The Red Sox will continue to make every effort to ensure socially acceptable behavior (who is making the decision about morally acceptable behavior? the usher? ) in order to allow fans to enjoy the game in comfort.
Are they hitting you with these big foam fingers? Or touching themselves inappropriately with the foam fingers? If no then too bad for you. And unless the Jewish guy is trying to convert you during the game, then you just don't like what he is wearing, and again too bad. If it is too hard to just go watch a ball game, don't go.
I missed the Jewish guy somewhere. baseball ia a spectator game. That means you can watch what ever you want. Even two gay chicks kissin. We have rights. Peace
This is getting stupid. I was giving those examples to show how vague the rule is that was posted. "Directly or indirectly" interferes gives the stadium the ability for loose interpretation. Funny there was no mention of the gay guys holding hands. The couple said that they had kissed, not that they were doing anything inappropriate, not that they were making out. That is why this is a story. Haven't you ever brought a date to a baseball game or kissed in public somewhere. This is a direct quote from the story: The usher, Guerrero said, told them he had received a complaint from a woman nearby who said that there were kids in the crowd of nearly 36,000 and that parents would have to explain why two women were kissing. This is what the story is about. The parent was concerned because she would have to explain what lesbians were... then on monday (days later) you have the Stadium and the usher release a statement that there was "groping" and "lewd behavior" This seriously looks like covering their asses to me. You don't want to see PDA's, look away. http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/06/05/sea....ap/index.html
dude, we already moved past that PAGES ago. i'm gonna start going topless to games. it's natural and people should just look away. and if i see a couple sucking each other's internal organs out of each other's mouths at the ball game, i'm just gonna film it and start talking dirty in their ears.
you know the ultimate thing i dream about? getting a hummer behind homeplate while the red sox win the world series. you know, right as Papelbon throws the final strikeout. be a historic moment, and i'm sure everyone around me would be cheering
