LMAO! No doubt. We haven't watched tv for more than a couple years. we are moving in a couple weeks and are thining about turning cable on again, just for a while. But I might get drawn in. I have an addictive personality. I am really second guessing my decision. Besides I can get all the cool series on Netflix anyway. Though I am watchind stuff people watched two years ago and thinking its the funnest stuff.
Which is insane...right? I make nearly three times that amount an hour and I still live check to check. If you listen closely you can hear belts tightening and the screams of those who are falling through the cracks across America...
i make just about $12... and if i had my own place, i wouldn't be able to live off that in Boston luckily i live with my folks...and hopefully i get a pretty sweet job in the fall...
Ever think thats part of the 'Plan' Screw everyone infront of their eyes, make them beleive its out of their control, and with any luck they'll try to find happiness in such a situation. Brainwashing 101.
Eh...it's not crazy. Most people just can't comprehend what's staring them in the face most of the time. There's been a "pacify and simultaneously oppress the populace/free market money grab" scheme going on for a looong ass time.
Once you even take the slightest in depth look at our current economic system you realize it's totally unsustainable. I'm just waiting for the collapse .
Yup, these funny pieces of paper are worthless. Not just the USA's. Everyone's money is worthless. Which is hilarious because there is an unlimited supply of money of all different colors. It is all worthless. Yet all I need to do is throw these pieces of paper at people and they give me stuff. Fucking amazing stuff this money.
You live in NY, don't you? I live in Indianapolis and was able to reasonable care for two kids and two adults on the equivalent of $12/hr. Wasn't glamorous, but nobody was ever hungry.
no.when you tell people they are going to have to work just as hard as we do around here,it scares them away.. everyone dreams of sustainability but when they see the amount of effort it takes they run the other way.. soon enough folks will see why we put the effort in here.hard times are knocking at americas door and there aint nothing gonna keep them away at this point..
some tv's are gonna be worth absolutley fucking nothing when they switch everything over to H.D.....i think we should all just say screw you to the system and grow our own food
well I for one would love to work...even just on a visit. There are alot of things I don't know and I love to learn. I have a garden with a friend and some tomatoe plants for myself. We are moving in a couple weeks and I will have a wee bit more land to do some planting...but it won't get me any farm animals. I've always admired the work you guys all do. I agree with the hard times. I was brought up Mormon(not a good practicing one at all anymore, don't believe it) and I recall food storage being a big deal to them. I have alot of apocolyptic views myself and concerns over what is to come. However, we need to spiral down for a bit to put shit back in balance, I think. Time will tell.
My money is worth approximately .69 Euros, thank you very much. A few more Euros hit the market and I might be able to buy a can of soda.
Nothing is switching over to HD. Everything's going to be broadcast digitally to free up emergency broadcasting frequencies. Apparently 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina had so many faults because of TV..... it hindered the governments ability to communicate. By 2013 the FCC wants every channel dual broadcasted in both HD and digital, but people will be using their 1982 floor model tv for years to come.
