what would you be more nervious about doing? picking up a hitch hiker, or being a hitch hiker and getting picked up... and why?

 

If I was a hitch hiker why would I be scared to be picked up? I wouldn't hitchhike at all if I would be scared.
So, the first. But I only would pick someone up who doesn't look like a scary freak.

Do you hitch hike?

 

I have never hitched in the US, it's not too illegal but still illegal here... plus, most people are too afraid of their own shadows to pick anybody up here.

I have hitched a tad before though... I usually just take really cheap busses.

Who's the most interesting stranger you've only met once?

 

This one guy at the comic book/record place. I was looking for a 20 sided die to use as a life counter for Magic The Gathering. He saw I was looking for it and was like "Hey man, you don't have to buy one. Take this" (Reached in his pocket and gave me one). I said "Hey thanks a lot!" He said "No problem, I have 5 more in my pocket".

That was interesting... Never met someone who carried 5 Magic life counters with them at all times, hahaha.

Do you like the Mexico?

 

Sometimes.

I prefer the Puerto Rico... probably because of the kickass ratio of rum to tequila. (ie: Jose 151 does not exist and moonshine is illegal and sometimes shitty because of copper radiators from cars = majority hickass to kickass ratio)

Do you like to tie things?

 

Actually, yes... which is why making silly hemp things provides hours of entertainment.

Do you enjoy peeling oranges?

 

Yes... why, I love to peel oranges. I then dispose of the orange peel into my mason jar (what would the world be without ball/mason) and cure things to put into cigarettes.

I think The Orange Peel is one of the most clever venue names (Asheville, North Carolina) I've come by.

Do you have a favorite/music venue(s) that you prefer over others?

 

I used to like Downtown Music in Little Rock because they played lots of grindcore metal which made everyone's ears bleed. Plus, it has the most colourful cast of characters.

What do you usually buy in gas-stations (when you're high)?

 

Haha.... my neighbor always gets these sour patch kids knockoffs at 7-11.

I usually don't go to gas stations for anything but gas or if there isn't an Ihop around after a longass concert (most concerts I see end after 1-2am... longest one being Gov't Mule that lasted till 3am from 7 or 8 while touring with Xavier Rudd and Yonder Mountain). I like soy crisps alot. Those things are the shit.

I just wish there were more shows with dankass veggie burritos and grilled cheese for a buck, these days...

Are you participating in Thirsty Thursday?

 

We had "Gangsta Thursday" back in Arkansas... we would drink 40s, listen to crappy rap, and smoke blunts.

If not that, a friend always had Thirsty Thursday at his house... lots of people, "jungle juice", and lots of insane jungle music.

He, ofcourse, would always be naked.
