Yeah well I think people were always like that. Maybe there just weren't enough cool gadgets or convenient products to get and consume in mass quantity to make it apparent earlier, or they weren't available to the mainstream as it has become in the last few decades so the general person didn't feel the need to get all this crap everybody else has.
I do have a cell phone but I never remember to keep it charged and I always forget to take it with me when I go out.
Me too although I admit when I go grocery shopping or other similar things I deliberatly don't take it with me most of the time. It's also still my first and only cellphone. But I am not really bothered that other people all want a smartphone or use it all the time in public (can be kind of annoying of course but would not call it the downfall of civilisation or anything like that), it is more that they generally get a new one every year. So yeah I guess consumerism like that bothers me a bit as well I do believe we were always like that though, we are just with too much now buying too much crap so that's why it shows more. There's also more crap than there ever was before.
i kno, for real! use a new knife every time it goes into the butter, or at least wipe it off. even worse is bits of jelly in the peanut butter jar or vice versa
I feel for 'ya. I hate ice cubes tinkling around in a glass. In fact I don't even like ice cubes. They piss me off.
Actually, jelly in the peanut butter doesn't bother me, but peanut butter in the jelly weirds me out.
I work with a lady that smokes like 18 packs of Newports a day and has a rough, manly and smokey voice. I can hear her clear across the office but what irritates me is that when she says hello to someone, it's not just...hello...she yells....AAAAAAYYYY-LOOOOOOOOOOOO....say it out loud with a raspy voice, it is annoying
I hate when i get an errection at work, it just makes me think that i am wasting this...what would otherwise be a perfect time to masturbate.
