Don't you know the atmosphere and the planets magnetic field blocks most of the harmful radiation and high energy particles that would otherwise, ya know, really fuck us up? It's a good thing that we live at the outer edge of the galaxy in a relatively sparse area, I'd imagine that regions more densely populated with stars such as near filaments or close to the center of the galaxy are so hot with gamma rays and other shit that you'd be vaporized in a second if you happened to live there ... a supernova explosion could cook us from hundreds of lightyears away. Our whole lives revolve around chance and so far we've been lucky

 

Skin cancer is still a huge problem in the world today. There's nothing healthy about a tan. I try and get out of the sun as much as possible, and I think my younger looks show for themselves.

I don't want to be one of these people with a face that looks like a catchers mit. and that's all got to do with weather exposure. I'm not as confident as you, that we are safe from harm. I can literally see we aren't, especially in older generations and yet I know some people that are my age and look well older because of too many days at the beach without protection etc. I was sun burned on the weekend and the sun wasn't even out. Yet for days after I saw cracks in my skin from the exposure. I looked 5 years older for 3 days.

Just looked to find another english assigment due tomorrow that wasn't there before and was never told about .. it just appeared lol and some of the dates changed again but I dont fucking trust them.. God I'm fuckin sick of this shit. Took an exam today on 2 hours of sleep, got a B. The questions I got wrong were the EASIEST questions on it.. i know I wouldn't make such stupid mistakes if I'd actually had slept, I could have made 100%.

I'm supposed to be analyzing a news article, then analyze one of my peers' analysis of it and write some shit about it but I keep reading the same paragraph over and over .. I'm that fuckin' tired.

 

It was a quick rushed trip. We had some family drama I won't get into and i was about to have a 4 year old slugged onto my shoulders. But when I thought about it, I thought shit I'm not mature enough for my niece to live with me for a couple of months. I'm just not going to be a good role model at all. So basically, I went to see how I could manage it. And then realized with the interests I do have etc. I couldn't manage it. I can't take a 4 year old out playing pool and hustling around. So, my sister and my niece are going to come to us for a little while, and then hopefully I can have my niece for a couple of weeks. I know I have so much fun things for her to do with spring I'm going to get busy with my horses and getting the summer activities ready for the place I work for and what little girl wouldn't love a a holiday with horses????

Also I didn't want it to be a long trip because my dog really suffered last time and I'm too guilty. So it was just over a week, week and a half with travels. That's it though. I don't want to travel for a little while now. I'm done. though, I heard there might be a few good touring concerts going to Aus and if Twiztid show up, I HAVE to be there.

I'm still waiting for you to ask me out on a date to a concert. Fear Factory is touring!

 

Had to go to work an hour and a half early today for a safety meeting that was less than 20 minutes long. Actually less than 15 minutes long because a few minutes was spent on stuff about health insurance.

 

I work short hours at my new job, but it sure feels a lot longer with the work load they give me

Anyway I was wondering did you do any fun stuff in Dubai? Cruise into the desert or something? Or the complete opposite: the water. I usually see such awesome sites from the beach and the water in front of it there.

 

Is it boring work? The more busy I am at work the quicker the hours seem to pass.

I just had to sign my name for the cleaning lady saying that I only wanted the bathroom cleaned. I have just asked for the bathroom to be done before and never had to sign anything.
