the thing is..... race is not real. if i prefer someone with darker skin it's no different then preferieng a certain hair-style.
asians suggest the entire continent of asia, which consitst of not only chinesse and japanesse, but indians, russians ect ect....asian is generalized, and im not as fond of indians or russians as i am of the chinesse and japanesse, or the orientals
sooo.... are you wondering what looks we prefer?... or was it the culture or society in general of a certain ethnicity... i'm not sure what you're asking anymore.
no seriously oriental is a deragatory term I am not being snotty or arogant I am just trying to let you know in case you didn't.
hm, tiger, just the so-called "race" and what so-called "races"you are most attrached to.... altho in key, race is nothing more then hair or eye colour.
race is real though-it shows geographical adaptations through evolution. Race and ethnic diversity is a beautiful thing we have to embrace it and celebrate it but in doing so we must also value our own race.
yes but underneath race lies culture and both are encompassed by diversity. My offical position title is actually 'Diversity Director' and during my many major changes I was an ethnic studies major so I do know a bit about this.
These are not good words, any type of generalization overlooks what is good in a particular group. EveryOne is different. I'm not sure of everywhere you've been, but still you couldn't have seen more than a small portion of the whole.
I agree with this... lynsey, what's your major, btw? you talk like an anthropology or history major sometimes... (i'm taking classes in both of those) but to answer interval's question i am attracted to dark hair, and dark eyes... however! i find many many different types of ppl attractive. in fact now that i think about it, i made a thread a while back about red hair... so i really have very little preference... i guess i really think everybody's good-looking.... meh... i'm not picky.
I have my units completed for a BA in psych and am doing a second BA right now in Liberal Arts. Thanks though Honestly when I date I prefer men of my own race. It's not a racial thing and if I clicked with someone who was of another race I would go for it-but I can't help who I am natrually attracted to.
hmm.. i think just calling it "race", instead of origin is a negetive thing, it makes it sound like we are in competition. and i'd like to know who here is not a mixed breed...
race is actually short for racial ethnic group. It is an abreviation just like anglo is short for anglosaxion
do any of you really know that race isnt real and this was just like asking what hair colour you like best? race is not real!!!!! get it! genetically there is NO race.
