Does anyone learn from hearing about the same black people year after year? No. Do black people even care about learning from it? No. They just want the recognition. 95% of the black people I've EVER met are like that, anyway. And as a reminder, I lived in a majority black community for 15 years of my life (I'm 16). So I met alot of black people.

By the way, in PG county, a 98% black population let me remind you once again, who gets minority scholarships? Black people.

I grew up in New Jersey, just around Camden. Depending on which town you lived in, you could be in an all white town (Gloucester) or an all black town. Depending on your skin color, you could get robbed, beaten, and treated like a second class citizen. Camden New Jersey got the most dangerous city per capita three years in a row. You shouldn't assume things about a person over a forum, it's bad business and is a terrible way to make a point. Not to mention New Jersey is the most densely populated state in the US.

Moreover, we're talking about a country that has a population of 300 million. I'm glad you have a familiarity with PG county, however, PG county is not a microcosm of the US. If you have a way of acting and speaking where you are from, that's fine; but this discussion is cognisant of the US at large. In other words, using certain langauge is fine where you are from. However, this is a forum that is worldwide - and we must have a larger picture of social interactions and norms. When I speak of how the term '******' is used, I'm making a reference to how that might be taken in all 50 states, as opposed to a single county. In general, if a black person used the term 'cracker', they should face the consequences, same as if a white person said '******'. Either way, neither term is socially acceptable, despite where they are from.

So, its wrong to hate someone because of their race, but its ok to hate someone for being racist. Ok, I get it now. Everything is just so much more clear.

 

That was a whole different deal though. Most African tribes understood the terms of slavery as being traded off or taken as war-prisoners to another tribe. They were not however beaten, killed, or left to starve. They were used as labor, yes. But they were not looked at as a different species.

Whites came in, the Africans understood slavery in, but not in Whiteman's terms. Along with the whites came guns and firepower that was very guarded within who was allowed to use said guns.

Africa has always, throughout history, been a warring continent, but once the whites arrived, there was an explosion of the level and brutality of war.

Saying blanket statements like yours is the type of ignorance I posted about up there.

Take some sociology classes, pay attention in your world history class, or read any book. Read up on Haile Sellassie I and Malcom X. Read Martin Luther King Jr's speeches.

Racism is one of the ugliest things to have touched human history. It is the blind hate of another person for absolutely no other reason and the complete hardheadedness to not see the other side.

^I'm in no way being a hypocrite. Expressing distaste for someone for essentially allowing and welcoming themselves to a level of idiocy is not wrong; hopefully it will encourage these people to educate themselves on the subject and so they won't get punched in the mouth.
