I should probably go post this in the body mod forum but I'll run it by you guys first I want to start working on some tattoo plans. I've got ideas and I've collected several images that inspire me. Two full sleeves are what I'm probably aiming for, probably one very colourful with hardly any flesh showing, and the other with little or no colour, and more visible flesh. For the colourful one...I've got a few images and details I'd like to include and take inspiration from, but am struggling a little on how exactly to combine them and also make sure they'd fit on my arm in a good layout. White Snow....some of your sig art you've done for people makes me think maybe you'd have tips for this, particularly for filling the space between images in such a way as to join them logically etc The other arm will mostly contain quotes, songlines etc, swirling around in various sizes and in lines that flatter muscle contours. I really like fine detail but I'm wondering what the sensible limit is for tattoos in terms of longevity. I don't want it all to smudge into one blob in the next 30 years or so. So, taking resolution as the ability to distinguish between two points, what do you reckon is the smallest gap you could have between two tattoo lines that would survive and not merge into a blob later on?
Well I think the art has much approved since the olden days of all blue tattoos. I would say the artist would be the best to answer that! I'm getting a Tattoo on the 17th of March... lettering in fact, so If I remember...I'll ask ETA: super great idea Amy.
does anyone know of a natural way to get fleas out of your house? This is the second morning I've gotten up to a flea bite on my face. This one is in my eyebrow and is driving me crazy. I suppose I need to get my animals flea free first before I try to de-flea the room. ugh it snowed here and we still have fleas that is some bs.
the BEST thing to do is HOOVE EVERYTHING i mean cracks near floor boards, mattresses beds.wardrobes...basicallyeverywhere. As the thing that is the prob with fleas is they drop eggs everywhere. If you can control the eggs then you can start to control the fleas. I once made a tea tree and lavender spray in a water bottle(mixed with water) and spayed over stuff as i hoovered. This is only a temp idea but the only way to rid of them is flea stuff. oh yeah and lemon juice kills them,so if you can rince your pets in the bath with lemon water this may kill a few off. Say get a few lemons cut them in half ans steep in boiling water till it cools down, dilute with more water, wash your animals and rinse with this. My dad had fleas at his house and it was a nightmare!
that should say hoover and also as soon as you have ,get rid of the bag/dust from inside as they will still breed. All it takes is for the flea eggs to feel heat and they will hatch . good luck btw!
thank you I'm trying to use less chemicals because it has come to my attention that I use a lot of things without even thinking about it the hurt the environment. Plus the powder stuff you sprinkle on everything then vacuum it up makes my feet itches when we don't get it up good enough.
just to mention I think south carolina has like some type of super flea because its nearly impossible to make them go away. I don't think north carolina has anything except tons of ticks. I think I shall hunt for a place to live with a low population of fleas.
yeah Ive heard actually that there is such a thing as super flea! Its really hard to kill them off these days as they have become immune to ordinary flea repellant. Thats why the good stuff costs an arm and a leg,it has super flea killing power! In the end my dad got this stuff by johnsons I think it was a tablet your animal eats then the fleas die in 24 hours. It was vile I mean fleas were just falling off them!!
I've heard this stuff called skin so soft kills any type of bug because its so oily that it clogs their pores or something. I don't know just a rumor I heard.
Heard salt will kill the little shits too! So probably the same shit we all use to wash our dreads with..would kill fleas..too funny! Chickie fleas carry so many diseases. Get your pooches on a good flea and heart worm preventatives. Heartworms are terribly expensive to treat and a horrible way to go!
It should be fewer chemicals. The basic rule is, for things you can count use fewer and for things you can't, use less. There were fewer snowflakes this year. There was less snow this year.
amy, amy. a grammar maven after my own heart. i love word art, i love the idea of doing a sleeve like that. my one tattoo is all black ink. it's an ambigram i designed that says balance. for the other one.. have you seen luke brown's art? he's really fantastic - http://spectraleyes.com/gallery/tattooz
