Here is a couple of photos off ot the web. They have been known to dig down deep enough to disturb the graves. and using them for dens
yes I did. I have been doing most of those things already. My cat goes in the other direction when it sees the groundhog. It is bigger then the cat . To tell you the truth the cat now avoids the area where the ground hog has been running around
Once it gets in the gun sight it will be visiting old friends. I have worked my way thru the list to get rid of it. Relocating it is off of the list now
Groundhogs taste like dirt if you eat them.. younger not so much, but older fat ones do, if you like the taste of beets. It's not so bad. Worcestershire sauce helps.. All they do is dig holes, eat roots and grass..
Lead poisoning is going to happen sooner or later. And I do not plan on cooking any ground hogs LOL digging a hole for it maybe. But not cooking it. And they are very good at damaging ones gardens and lawns.
Our yard has gophers; lots and lots of them! Lol. I don't think I would want to eat one, but we try to trap them. They aren't terribly bright, but we're certainly outnumbered. They destroy the garden or we'd probably just let them be.
I've just joined the A U, Alcoholics Unanimous, if you don't feel like a drink you ring them up and they send someone round to talk you into one, lol
Have you tried an alligator? dunno about groundhogs but they seem to keep most other things off the lawn!
