Yay it's Frixday.

 

Well, the virus is making headway in Kyrgyzstan Kyrgyzstan Coronavirus: 9,358 Cases and 122 Deaths - Worldometer , and there are new worries of a more serious form of pneumonia in neighboring Kazakhstan. I'm worried about my gf, but radio silence at the moment. I sent her an email telling her that she has my support. It's very sad. The cases have jumped from 8,837 to 9,358 since yesterday. I'm not great with math but it's .001 of the population. Here we have .009, so not as bad as the United States yet. I feel worried still. I told her I pray that she's washing her hands and wearing her mask; though I feel pretty dumb saying it.

Other things that are going on... I learned how to change the student demographic information on my Federal Aid portal. I could technically go in and remove information about my bachelor's degree so that more aid would become available, but it wouldn't do any good. I probably need to wait until my school provides appeal forms for aid (I need an appeal - I know, how bad!) and they aren't doing that until later this month, not sure when exactly.

Oh dear, you do have some worries Soul, good that you can share them and get support.
Hopefully, your GF will contact you soon, I expect she is checking on her friends in her country, or her signal is bad?

I hope you have support with sorting out an appeal form.

As for Friday - I call it Frixday - Friday with kisses. x

 

She will as soon as she checks her email. It's always a little while before I hear back. Same day though.

The financial aid department, though initially skeptical of my situation, has been really sweet and kind to me the last several times we've talked. They are very supportive, but I think the panel that reviews appeals is pretty stringent.

I am doing some favours for a neighbour.
Now she phoned and asked me to find her a cleaner?
Where on earth would I find one?
She broke her hip, I have been helping out.
But I don't do cleaning!

 

Well my wife is going to be with a lover the whole weekend so I guess I'll just have to wing it............or maybe if I get lucky I can get some gal to wing it!.................................I hope!...............

 

That sucks for your neighbour,, hope she has a speedy recovery. Is she elderly? Maybe a support worker might be able to go out and have a clean round for her if she is immobile.

 

Wing it, never heard of that before. Lol
