    I would love to see my kids and grandkids 3,000 miles (4,800 km) away but there is no way I'm getting on an airplane with the covid-19 virus running rampant in the US.

    Kyrgyz Embassy Consular says:
    So I'm sort of wondering where that puts us. Immediate family rules me right out, but if it's citizens of Kyrgyzstan, I'm in. My interpretation of their statement is that only if your immediate family are citizens of Kyrgyzstan can you fly in to visit them. I replied that it's my girlfriend I'd be visiting and they responded with an affirmation about marriages... :laughing: We couldn't get down to whether or not my circumstance rules out travel, but the sense I get is it's a solid no at the moment. It's reserved for families; which we are not.
