Good afternoon talkers. I love this thread. I also like it when you get lary Gal. Bring it on earlier!
I have new words. Apparently Brighton is now Bri, Chichester is now Chi. So Liverpool must be a Li. lol
Well figured out Gal! In the meantime I hope Doc doesn't mind me talking and posting my LIVE CCTV Camera links and my weather information link? Well at least it is talking I guess, or perhaps gives one something to talk about! In the meantime just to say that my LIVE CCTV Cameras here all the way from Colwyn Bay North Wales are back on. I got an early start today. Each day I'm responsible to check-in via SMS for my personal assistant position and do around 04:00 PST. Typically, thus far anyway, the executive doesn't return the text for hours. Today, he's ready and will have instructions for me within the hour. I'm very curious to see what is going to happen.
The impression I have so far is that I will primarily run errands. But all we've been doing is setting up the banks - I haven't been on one errand. The company is sending me a debit card with CitiBank (a banking institution) and I set up a reloadable card (like a debit card... -ish) as well. I have no idea how it's going to work. EDIT: I'm concerned about how much liability I assume here... In other news, I heard from a prospective employer about a data entry project they're doing. That should start next week, but it's menial - I'd be typing lots and lots, copying from forms into computers. It's not really my cup of tea but it will work for the time being until some other firm hires me, or if need be until the conclusion of their "project".
There is something called Aspiration that is tied to my checking account. It's only authorized to pull $35 (I think...?), but I haven't used this before. They transferred $50 to me available for pickup at Walmart using "Aspiration". I got the fifty, and was told to deposit $35 and use $5 for a BlueBird reloadable card at Walmart (retailer). I put the remaining $10 on the BlueBird, so it has a $10 balance. I am in the dark as to why aspiration must collect its $35 from my bank account though. Why wasn't that paid up front? Weird & unexplained... The $35 is still in my account. I am to be compensated for the position some time today, and the executive mentioned a bank errand so maybe I will get my pay, or possibly money for other purposes. Of course they also have my checking account # and bank's routing # for direct deposit. And I think the CitiBank is in my name, so I'll be able to access it. There's supposedly a debit card for that account in the mail already... Lot's happening with that job...
Always be cautious. I can understand why you are questioning this. I will try and find my friend on this forum who can explain more, as he deals in finances.
Thanks! I'm just worried about "pull through" access. I asked my bank right after it was initially set up. They confirmed that he likely has that ability if he's got the ability to pay me just in case of over-payment.
