I think that's Bulgarian, @Vladimir Illich. The translator for Google recognizes it. You say it's Russian?

 

My cell phone can do it, and Google translator does marvelously. As for typing the Cyrillic alphabet, I haven't gotten that far yet. I use the translator for everything.

thank you. Yes. I was nervous about that as well, but she seems to be really genuine. I don't suspect anything, but I don't know that I'll be making it out her way soon. I don't know if you knew, but I am living with schizophrenia and I'm a little weird about travel. By car is fine, but with planes and boats I don't feel as safe. Without divulging her personal information, I can say she's on the other side of the pond from me. I don't know when I'll get to see her in person, but I'm ok with just being online people.

I think the real danger would be going out there and not knowing what to expect. And of course not being able to speak the language would be worse.
