Never said it wouldn't be better, just not feasible at this time to "fix" the unemployment situation in America, let alone the world.
Designers and inventors come up with awesome shit all the time, but it has to be practical, economically feasible, and viable in order to go from the imagination to your living room. The same applies to politics. You have some good ideals and ideas. Where I see them failing is in the real world implementation and application. Start putting your brain power into that. don't just stop at saying how fucked up the system is and expressing your "idealized" version of how it should be. You need to cover the ground between here and there and provide a means to get there.

Oh, America's economy has traditionally always been strong in times of war.
But not when a large portion of needed services and supplies are being handled by an elite, small group of companies as it is now. But because it leaves a bad taste in your mouth doesn't mean it's not the truth.

I live near Hughes Aircraft, Boeing, and McDonnell Douglas plants. If we were involved in a more "traditional" war, with contracts going to those type of companies predominately, I would not be unemployed right now.

Well I had an job, but they laid me off, bc they didnt have enough money to pay for the work, and got volunteers to do it for free. Dang people.

Well I am ok now, bc of getting married, and my man is helping support me, but we are still struggling, just trying to make ends meet. Hopefully after the fall I can get an better job. going back to school in the fall.
