Well lets just pretend suicide bombers don't exist. Lets pretend thousands of people murdered by these bombers never were. Lets pretend that Moslem religious leaders are not training young children to blow themselves up. And if anyone mentions anything about Moslem suicide bombers, lets call them bigots.
We are so politically correct, arent we.

Real Christians do not torture or murder. Many people have done things in the name of Christianity but don't spread their dirt on the teachings of Christ. Jesus states that no murder will enter the kingdom of God. Which means those who murder are not Christians.

 

Unless, of course, they repent later, right?

Campbell, if you do not beleive that it is possible to murder and be excepted into heaven, then what do you think of those who kill in the name of self defense or when great injustice is being commited. For example, would it not be ok for one to kill a hijacker of a plane, knowing that several planes had been previously hijacked and smashed into tall buildings killing thousands, possibly saving thousands of others from death. Or perhaps fighting in a war to defend a people against mass genocide based on the beliefs that they hold.

How can anyone who believes in Christ say that a murderer will not have the opportunity to go to heaven? Jesus told the criminal that he would be in paradise with Him. It is very possible that the criminal was a murderer. And Jesus told him he would be in paradise (heaven) with Him. This is what is great about Jesus, it's called forgiveness. We were all sinners, but Jesus came to forgive us. It is the the repeating of a sin and living in sin...that is when it is not good.

I believe murder is an act to kill another human being without cause. Self defense would fall under another heading. Murder for murder sake is a sin that would reflect the condition of your heart. Yet even a repentant murder would be forgiven by God. Yet only God could see into a mans heart as to his sincerity. The apostle Paul before becoming a Christian was a murder for the Jewish faith. He himself would kill christians to purge the land. Yet God forgave him.

 

The Muslim faith teaches that heathens and even Jews may die by the sword.
Thats why palestinian religious leaders are teaching young children that to be a suicide/homicide bomber pleases God. Christians do not believe this, many moslems do. Palestian children are taught in summer camps that after a person becomes a suicide bomber, he reaches the highest level of paradise. This was aired on the BBC. Muslims do murder, and their religious leaders often encourage them to do so.

 

And how is this so different from christian history?

How can you not see the hypocricy of your beliefs?

 

Good question Sera, and I am just as puzzled as you. Christian leaders such as Falwell, and countless others throughout the history of the church have promoted killing other religious adherents.

So I guess that his statement "Christians don't murder.", is a comment of his that only applies to his faith. All others do murder, apparently......

I'm willing to bet there is an equal or greater number of people promoting peaceful coexistence with other faiths. One firebrand can kill many people, especially if he finds a group of assholes to follow him/her.

 

Sera I have told you many times before, just because a person calls themselves a Christian this does not make them one. Jesus said he who is without sin cast the first stone. None of the Jews did that day. The Christian faith does not support the Crusades or the death penelty ect. Men who pratice evil are not Christians, and the Bible teaches us to do just the oppsite. Religious men are often not men of God. Christians do not murder and the Bible teaches this, where as the Moslem faith states it is right to kill a non believer. It is taught in their doctrine, and supported by many of their religious leaders. All these men that are blowing themselves up, believe they die and go to their sensual heaven.
Sadly, that is why they have so many of them doing this.

 

Scripture states that men have souls. If men die without Gods saving gift which is found in Jesus Christ. That soul is lost. The object is to save every man for Gods kingdom. Every man is of great value to God. Yet, if these men reject God's gift they will not pass into His kingdom.

So you are telling me that if you are an American you are Automatically a Born again Christian. WOW I never knew that. So with that thought in mind I guess if you are an American you go to heaven because we are all Christians. So I guess BlackGuard you don't have any choice in the matter. You have to go to heaven because you are an American. See BlackGuard, your a Christian, and you didn't even know it. It's a shame about all the other countries. Lucky for us we are Americans. The fact is BlackGuard, you don't know the difference between nationally, and Christianity. Talk about stereo typing.

Oh so your telling me that everyone in elected office in American are Born Again Christians. And all the laws made here in America came about because of Born Again Christians, is that what you are telling me.
