When used responsibly, drugs enhance the positive aspects of life and can be very productive. It all depends on your reasons for using drugs. If you are using them for the sole purpose of getting fucked up, you will end up in bad shape. If you use drugs to expand your mind and better yourself, as well as getting fucked up, you will probably be okay depending on the addictive potential of the drug and the frequency of use.
regardless of whether therye good or bad on teh whole, i dont believe a human can understand his reality without changing it in multiple dimensions
Oh com' on! There's nothing special in drugs, just mindf*ck. I haven't the lock of inspiration. I'm in love and when I think about him inspiration comes and comes! Music influences on me, nature influences on me, my health body influences on me and I feel happy, I think I almost know what the world does mean, what I do mean. I've said almost 'cause I'm only 17 and my travel through the world-understanding continues second by second. I don't feel the need of help from any drugs. so please stop trying to influence on me You are so many and I'm alone, but I've more power than you all together So.. I'm searching for someone who's agree with me: We don't need drugs! WooHHOooo!!!!!
There's nothing special about love, love is everywhere, it comes and goes in all shapes and sizes. I look at drugs the same way. Your original post was naive, and that's a nice way of saying it. You gain inspiration from the person you are in love with, well maybe us drug users should go out on a limb and make asses out of ourselves by ASSuming that without your love you would be helpless. This is the assumption you have made, that we drug users will all one day realize that we can't live without our drugs. Maybe one day you will realize your love is the same as my drugs. I'm not going to sit here and try to convince you to take drugs cause that's a personal choice, and I sure am for people making their own decisions. Only thing I have a problem with is the severe lack of any strong foundation for your beliefs against drugs, and your naive belief that you 'understand' the world. If you understand half of anything, you'd understand that others have passion in places that you don't, and just because their passions aren't the same as yours, doesn't mean theres is invalid and yours is valid. Love, drugs, sex, tomatoes, art, dancing, plants, whatever, everybody's got their own bag that gives them inspiration. The key is to not be a helpless shell of a person when whatever you put your passion into disappears or gets destroyed. Are you ready for the day when your 'love' is gone?
20 bucks you find zero people in a drug forum that will agree with you. It is like going into a christianity forum and saying "I hate Jesus!! Who is with me?" It just doesnt work that way.
Everything is mind-fuck. No one knows what anything means. We're all delusional. If you dont want drug users to influence you then dont post here. You dont need drugs, you dont need anything. You can just die and decompose and it would all be gravy. Nothing matters, end of story.
for the thread founder: Being in love isnt significantly more natural that e.g. trip on LSD ;-) Both just trigger your brain's natural biochemistry to work in another way that it's normally supposed to do ;-) Read some 'chemistry of love' scientific article then some psychedelic biochemistry article and tell me ... whats so god damn different ?
O.K., so you´re saying, that you don´t need any drugs. No drugs at all? No Coffee and Cola (Coffeine), no tea (Teaine), no chocolate (Theobromine), and no medications (never in your life!)? And you never need a feeling of luck in your whole life (remember: feeling lucky is just the result of the release of endorphines in your body, some very strong drugs). And please don´t forget that you (as we all here) are addicted to oxygene. You started with this drug right after you were born, you liked it and continued it (because you "wanted" to stay alive). And you haven´t stopped breathing so far, you even haven´t ever tried. You´re definitely an O2-addictive (and you´ll be it until you die one day, because the cells of your body don´t get this stuff any more). Which leads me to the point, that before one should discuss the necesstity (or non-necessity) of drugs, he/she should first tell his/her definition for "drug".
Exactly man, this person makes herself sound like a child. And first off, I really question why she would come into a drug forum to tell us about her life then act like she is strong enough to *resist* our temptations. lol, we are not going around telling everybody to do drugs or anything like that. Sounds like her ego needs some reassurance that her life is all good and dandy. Dan67 made a thread called drugs are a dead end. Maybe this poster and Dan67 would get along well. They can talk religion, hypocrisy, insecurity, and just plain ole insanity in the 21st century.
Come on 2cesare, this girl is 17 and claims that she almost knows what the world means. Is that a person that you can take serious? Give her the time to make her own decisions and experiences. Either she´ll stay away from "drugs" forever (or what she thinks "drugs" are), then there´s no use in making a big deal about it all - she´ll never understand it! Or she´ll try some drugs one day - and find out that almost everything she thought to know about the whole thing was wrong!
Yes this is true, but you see now after we explain to her the things that we did, she is one step closer to 'understanding' the world.
You have done drugs, Caffine is a drug, I bet you have drinken plenty in your life. There is alot more than you think.
Oh com' on! I bet you know which kind of drugs I meant. Ok, If you don't, then I explain: I mean: Cocaine, Heroin, Weed(but not so much ), LSD-and other synthethics, mushrooms, etc-please don't try know to be inteligent:"Heyy what about DMT?? Heyy you think Blah Blah Blah isn't drug??, etc" and please note that it's not drug forum, but free speech forum and I can write what I think and you don't have to answer: Don't come here again!. Yeah, I'm 17 but and my heart is open for discoveries!!! Oleyohuuuhhyyy!!!! I love you druggy ones!!!! Sex, Health, Rock!!!! good luck in life good luck in posts
Weed "not so much"? Now, is it a drug or isn´t it? Of course you can write what you think! But I can´t remember that anyone told you not to come here again...
Yeah. I had to quit a lot of stuff 3 years ago, cause it was causing me legal and psychological problems. The only substances I take know at all, are alchohol, nicotene, Red Bull, and some psychiatric meds that don't really get me high. (With an exception of a few acute OTC episodes I've had this year). But for the most part I'm sober. The only things that I found difficult to stop using were pot and DXM. Stopping opium and LSD was a breeze. I guess life without drugs, and when I'm not drinking alcohol, is a lot different. I think more clearly, my judgement is better, and my previouslly insane perception has cleared up. The only thing I miss is the euphoria. Being intensly happy is fun, but I guess being alive, and not locked in a mental hospital, and down, is better than being on top of the world and having the afortmentioned problems. I should really stop drinking, and smoking cigarettes as well. I don't beleive an occasional Red Bull has any adverse effect on me though. As far as music being a drug, I agree. Steven Tyler of Areosmith said something like "Rocking a live show before a sold out auditorium is the best drug, and I've tried them all", after he cleaned up. Music is a more healthy high than drugs definately. I categorize my altered sense songs (meaning songs that get me high) into 2 categories: The songs that make me euphoric when I'm not high : Widespread Panic- "The Waker", Grateful Dead - "Franklin's Tower", and "Estimated Prophet". The Beatles - "Here Comes the Sun", and Phish "The Wedge". And than there are the songs that make me trip without drugs: Grateful Dead - "China Cat Sunflower", Phish - "Ghuelah Papyrus", and "Cavern", Pink Floyd- "Comfortably Numb", and a lot of Doors songs. That sounds foolish beacause most of the songs I just mentioned are ascosiated with the drug culture, but anyone of them is an experience itself, without smoking, drinking, snorting, or popping anything. PEACE
So four pages in I'm still not really sure what the hell this topic was even about. Here is a story by shel silverstein to shed some insight on this. Its a little lengthy, but an entertaining read.
I think some people can know and discover things that people who do use drugs can. If you do it w/o drugs that would give the person more props in my view. Whatever path you choose if it works for you.. keep doing it, thats all i got to say.
