Good for you. No offense, I know you like them, but Linkin Park is pathetic for affiliating themselves with fucking Jay-Z. As soon as they did that the little respect I had for them flew right out the window. And Limp izkit is pathetic too.
Linkin Park would like to be known as a heavy metal band, but they're probably best described as a vague and undesirable mixture of nu metal, industrial rock, hip-hop, and pop.
