Sometimes you have to when you don't want to be rude and just completely ignore a person that's talking to you even though you don't want them to.

The first time I ever smoked weed was at a Wide Spread Panic concert in Charleston, SC in 1995 - and ever since then getting stoned at live shows has been top on my list of favorite ways to spend my time.

I love music all the time. I have a very eclectic taste of music. The one aspect that most of the music I enjoy has in common is it has to at the very minimum have some sort of unique artistic flare.

I once was a wee hours dj on a college radio that stayed true to not playing anything by any artist that has been on the top 40 in the past 40 years. Having this experience exposed me to a lot of different kinds of music from artists all over the world. Where I was in college there was a huge independent record store culture, and we spent all of our money on weed, music and concert tickets. During that time I also started working for the college newspaper entertainment section so I could get press passes to go to shows. I started working as a journalist so just I could get free tickets and access to the photographers pits, which are beyond the security guards at shows.

I've smoked weed with Hank Williams III, I've met Beck and Bitch & Animal, and Drums & Tuba. I followed Ani Difranco, Tori Amos and Pearl Jam around the southeast with press passes. I even saw Wesley Willis live. I've been to countless live shows in doors and out doors from Florida to Washington State. That's what I did for 4 years every weekend.

My favorite genres are folk, punk, alternative, experimental, trance, break beat techno, industrial, grunge and jam bands. I'm a big supporter of independent musicians who won't sign with major labels for philosophical and artistic reasons.

My husband is a dj, so we've got just an insanely huge library of music.

If by some miricale from God allows me to be able to afford it, I would love to spend the whole five days camping out at Bonnaroo this year, Paul Okenfold and NIN are going to be there - bliss.
