Sorry but random thoughts does NOT mean random thoughts within a thread. It only means random threads that do not FIT elsewhere. I suppose now I am supposed to feel like I can't post a serious thread in this forum? Cause if that's the case this forum is completely unnecessary imo.

Shall i just close it because two idiots can't be bothered to follow the forum guidelines, and choose to troll this thread and challenge me by breaking the rules?

You've both politicized a subject that transcends POLITICS but a lot of small brained creatures are incapable of understanding that.

 

That's not the issue at all, bringing up LIES to discredit the point of a thread or the thread poster or others attempting to discuss the subject is TROLLING, or aren't you aware of that?

Plus insulting the webmaster will get you all the attention you deserve, or don't you know that either.

Rubin, I've had enough complaints about you to have banned you long ago. I do like that you speak your mind, but man, you are SOOO misinformed, that I'm going to have to insist you backup statements with more than saying "that's my opinion.", especially if you are contradicting the point of the thread. Otherwise you are just trolling.

The last two statements are opinions, the first three are statements of fact. You've yet to back these up. I'd also like you to list the million better causes in your opinion. (attach extra pages if necessary... )

 

It's my job. Somebody has to keep the level of discourse here above the trash of most other sites, but it's a downhill battle it seems.

And when ppl first get here they see this place is different, and they love it! Then after a few weeks they end up in THIS FUCKING FORUM, and then come away with a whole 'nother opinion of this site based on the shit they see here.

Then the next thing is they're saying how this site has gone downhill, and how it used to be so much better (before they found this forum).

Last thing they're saying their good byes after having too many of their threads trolled by REGULARS on this forum. I've seen this happen too many times.

Perhaps I need to stick my head in here more and come to a decision about this forum and those who frequent it. Note what happened to the YH forum...

BTW, If I had wanted to debate the POLITICS of this event, I would've placed this in the politics forum, no?

I've already seen over 25 bands playing, LIVE FOR FREE, without commercials on the Internet feeds.

You will be able to see smaller portions of the concerts on TV, but NEVER again can you see any of them LIVE, along with hundreds of millions of others!

It's pretty exciting knowing we are watching the history of our planet changing to a new course right now (hopefully).

If nothing else this will inspire millions to become more active and aware of the condition of this planet.

I got to see the Native Americans in DC explain their prophecies that the earth will "burn up" is now coming true. Other spokespeople from native tribes around the world have very important tales to tell of how their lives are changing for the worse due to global warming.

PPL like Rat can come here and denounce the politics but that is totally irrelevant anymore, and today proves it. The people are a force that is stronger than any conspiracy. And ppl are connected today like never before. Whether it will change much remains to be seen, but the connection happening IS THE REAL MESSAGE today.

Just like Woodstock, these concerts are uniting those who see the world differently from the mainstream. And now it appears that the vision we share is BECOMING THE MAINSTREAM. And that is what is needed for action to at last be taken by those in power. Otherwise they won't be in power much longer...
