it was a while back, i found the land on a website but i cant remember the name of the website. I think it actually ended up being like a million dollars because it was thousands of acres, but when i averaged it out it was 800 an acre, so i assume you can buy smaller chunks of land for roughly the same price in the same area. cant remember what part of idaho, i'm not really familiar with idaho. I was just doing some research on where it would be cheapest in the country to buy farmland.

i know what you mean. I would love to live out on the road, going only at the speed that my body allows. Seeing everything. But you must not forgot there will be hardships, probably more than some. But the good times and memories will last forever. I guess we need to just do it though. I talk a lot about doing it, well by talk i mean think. but its time to leave!!!

i love this idea. I have moved around the country a lot in my life, and i just feel so stuck where I am now. Both physically and mentally, ya know? I was thinking yesterday, "I don't even need a house.... I would be perfectly fine just camping all year round." so yeah... i'm down
What is this festival in florida you speak of?

Ocala and A-Cola is over(rainbow).. even Swanee Music Fest.. bah, missed all three this year. Alabama is holding a Rainbow regional now... somewhere south of their capitol. Then you have Nationals on this east coast this year, damn cold weather needs to end, so things can progress with that..

Anyways, living on the road has it's pro's and con's. I love it personally, but can get shitty real fast if you don't think fast... wrong place, wrong time. You just got to remain positive and don't be stupid. A home after all, is anywhere you can call home, and my home is where I can feel the roots and kiss the sky. Just finished up 22,000 miles of travel for 2009.. already up to 4,000 for 10', been down the last two months getting crap organized this year for something... hopefully something... for the kids.

I've been invited to a few communes over the path, some really neat ones at that too, but I just didn't get their feel. Plus their already established one's.. which, well... I'd like to get my hands dirty setting up one from scratch... plus what I'm looking at is something a tad bit more then you're basic hippie commune.

Just do it.. once you're out there, you got only two choices.. continue the path or turn around.
