Man this is so lame, I just about finished typing up one of the longest, informative posts I've ever made, and the freakin mouse jumped all over and I lost all of it :tongue:
Basically what I was getting at, and this is very basic so if youd like a further explanation let me know and I will try typing it up again, is that attributing the energy which is within all physical reality to God is a misconception due to a lack of understanding of what the ancient Hindu texts were expounding upon. There is the energy (Shakti) of Nature (Prakriti) which is composed of 3 gunas, namely
1. tamas (negative)
2. sattva (positive)
3. rajas (neutral)
But then you have the Kundalini energy, the atman (soul) and the Paramatma (God) which are realized through being born into Material Nature.
So, yes, somehow Hindus thousands of years ago knew that there were multiple imperceptible dimensions of reality, that Nature composes with atoms which have 3 main charges, that we are a vibrating orchestra (strings) which was born from a Big Bang (Om, or Aum), and the at the most illusive dimension we are a membrane (Brahma).
How they knew this is beyond anyone's guess, and naturally the different schools of thought argue about which is which and who is who and describe different metaphysical energies in varying positions of power.
For someone to say that energy is God is fine, because this is what gives us our life and may be the closest thing to God which actually exists. But to assume that when one says that God is an energy, they are talking about the same basic energies which physics have described is indicative that the view is coming through a bit of a narrow window.

Maybe it is better to let the conversation continue naturally through this thread then concerning oneself with wether or not it will make Ivy happy or not.

Personally if this thread being giant makes Ivy happy i dont care, i dont want to see her suffer, not that i really care but im not going to alter my posting habits just because my current habits might make some one i dont care for happy.

unfortunately, there aren't enough numbers KNOWN about it for me to have an explanation, there is a lot of research going on because people don't quite understand it yet, there are lots of ideas. dunno enough to say anything about it except that, and what I DO understand is awesome and fascinating, I'd love to see this come into computer technologies (imagine your processor being part of your RAM by just entangling with each other)

the possibilities are amazing for computers, and for communications technologies.
