i think what i hate is the kind of repetitive soap opera the star wars universe has over the years and movies devolved into. so much i've pretty much lost what interest i may have ever had in any of the human or near human looking characters in it.

the whole idea of everything fantasy tech having to be about some kind of "epic" "wars".

Non fiction

 

depends what it is. technical texts on sciences and technologies i use, absolutely love. field guides to local flora and fauna, love those too.
political and economic ones don't interest me so i don't buy them. most histories unless they're unusual or indigenous are a no fly, biographies are also in the no interest category.
catalogues of tools and parts of all kinds love them too.
