Some people feel like the body load from high doses of mushrooms is more uncomfortable than that of LSD. Making fancy teas can lead to high-dose mushroom preparations that are very pleasant.
A lot of people still remain ignorant to what LSD even does/is... I also kind of dislike the title of this thread because, any intelligent person who has done and experienced true LSD can clearly tell it probably IS something..
Some truth there for me. After experimenting with DMT every LSD trip is like DMT trip just in slow motion And then when you are born, doctor slaps you, you take that first breath in and forget everything you know.
Hmmm.......they didnt slap my son, just gave him the little pump thing and he cried right away. Maybe he's the new messiah!!!!!!!!!!!!! j/k !
Hey, he might be It might be just that one of many possibilities. Parental love is so great. Unfortunately my daugher was slaped so no messiah thing for her....
Yea really, anything is possible! My son almost died during birth too, his chord wrapped around his throat and the monitor started going off, and like 10 nurses and doctors came in all at one and lifted his mother and pushed on her to get my son to turn over and loosen the chord's grip. Freaky stuff!
Nobody is recognizing that the most significant thing is the mind itself. It's really naive to think that by discovering stronger chemicals, we can have more profound life-changing experiences. It takes a hell of a lot more than taking a drug...psychedelics are only illuminate what's already there. If your mind lacks genuine depth, any trip you could have, no matter how strong the drug is, won't be any better...only the surface effects are different. The most important thing is to try and find meaning in life. Think philosophically, or spiritually, or however you want to do it. Find a way to be ecstatic without drugs. Then take a psychedelic, and the potential increases infinitely. I took 2 hits of acid a year and a half ago. I'm not at all how I was before and I'm still going to be ready before I do it again. Don't think that psychedelics should be purely recreational. "The history of LSD to date amply demonstrates the catastrophic consequences that can ensue when its profound effect is misjudged and the substance is mistaken for a pleasure drug." --Albert Hofmann (inventor of LSD...)
that's true, you should not forget that some people get their mind beyond what psychedelics can do by yoga/meditation. so, in the end all the possibilities the human mind can be triggered, but perhaps real progress concerning the human mind is only possible by a certain mind state and practices of it, this doesn't mean psychedelics cannot be a astonishing and profound (third) eye-opener
this thread is tight; shoulda been following it before. thanks to the ones who spoke of their kids' near-death birthing. my first kid was in the feet-first breach position but she was turned around in time for delivery. the second kid was just real big, so my wife elected a c-section. nothing traumatizing like you experienced, but I got neutered after that; this world is overpopulated as it is...no reason to stop reproducing, but limiting your # of kids is good for everyone. it frees up some energy to help your existing kids become better people. but i'm sure this isn't news. moroccan racoon-stellar words, I can't add anything because you said it all. i'da saved myself a lot of breath if I said it like you did
I voted the last one, then reconsidered my option.. buggery.. My answer is on the thin line between the 4th and 5th. The psy light of day will never be seen in this modern society we live in though. Saying that I've still gotta drift off into the entity driven DMT state..
