Sure man, I'll just copy and paste. I was buzzing on some aderall when I wrote this, so it's a lil wordy. LOL it reads like a paper for school:

This plant was very easy to grow. It wasn’t a huge eater, but it wasn’t fussy either. It grew quickly, was easy to train, and was fast in both veg and flower (done in 51 days). Out of a pack of 10 I only received 2 females. The yield was good on this pheno (which leans heavily to c99), and it’s been curing for almost 2 weeks.

Upon opening the jar I am greeted with a light fruit smell. This herb has a very sweet aroma, reminiscent of berries and candy, very very sweet. Upon breaking the nugs up this sugary smell is joined by a more noticeable citrus scent. The nugs are covered in many tiny trichs, giving a snowy appearance. They are of a very good density, and there is a presence of a good amount of dark brown hairs.

    *Bic flicked, bowl lit*

The first thing one notices after taking a rip of this herb is the strong, almost “stinging”, taste of it. A light fruity back round is first observed, followed by vanilla and a biting “tang” taste. It’s hard to put in words, but “vanilla tang” is the best way I can describe it. The smoke is smooth, but is noticeable, and you will cough if taking enough in.

The high slowly builds up, and then BAM, it hits you. This right here is ideal daytime smoke. The high is very functional (but still trippy), and the high is a very happy one. It’s almost all in the dome: a soaring head high is accompanied by a relaxing body high. I like that last part a lot, this herb relaxes my body a great deal, but it won’t lay me out. Potency is very good, but it’s not up there with the heavyweights. Don’t be fooled, however, this herb will make you geek out with your friends big time. To sum it up: great smell, awesome taste, a very nice high and some nice looking nugs; I like Tahoe Blue a lot....

Like I said, it was good, I just like stronger herb and after smoking on it for a while it didn't hold up. Maybe if I had more than 2 girls I'd have been able to find a keeper...

At the moment I have some clone-only stuff going :spliff: Giesel and FFA go into 1 gal bags Fri, then flower a week or so after that

Giesel = Mass super skunk x Chemdawg D
FFA ("Free For All") = Mass Super Skunk x OG Kush

After that I have some Grandaddy Purple and Black Domina on deck :spliff:

I also have 4 alpha diesels from seed (sourdiesel ibl x sour diesel clone) vegging right now, a little over a month old. Scoping spots to throw those outside....

Can't post pics right now, icmag isn't letting me post them here...

Hey Lune, looks like you will have to pop some up here :D

IC mag probably doesn't want to lose bandwidth due to hotlinking.

I have to dig up my ID for IC mag till then.. hmmmmmm where is that thing.

    Green thumbs!

Well it's been a little bit... plants are still doing fine, a little over 2 weeks flower. I might throw up some pics tomorrow if I remember... Since my last posting I've been kindly gifted some new flavors that are in the veg cab right now getting used to their new 1 gallon homes... ak47 (sandlewood pheno, my fav. from before, also the same as the one on the 1st page of this thread, but this cut is better than that one...), white russian, white widow, somango, blockhead (got it back!!!), and kyle kushman's strawberry cough (bombness...). I also had a chocolate diesel x lemon thai, but passed it on to another grower as I didn't have enough room for it...

Toking on my last bit of chemdog d x sour diesel (I think Rez did this cross...) at the moment, MIGHTY strong smoke....

Pretty much the same as before. A 400w mh in a 3.5x3.5 tent. I have a 6 inch can fan with a speed controller, and it's hooked up to a can filter 33 carbon scrubber. My veg area is bout 2.5 x 1.5, and I have 60 watts in there (going to add more) of floros and cfls. The veg area is pretty much just to root cuttings and keep already rooted cuttings healthy. I'm flowering out all plants in 1 gallon pots/bags, and cramming as many in there as possible. Once it's all going I should be harvesting every 3 or so weeks, so I guess this could be considered perpetual... I consider this practice for the near future, when my 400 will be used for veg and I'll have a couple of 1k bangers in the flower room. Gotta save money and get a new place before I can pull that off tho... I just woke up, I'll snap some picks later...

Thanks my man! I enjoy seeing how the rooms are organized and setup. Variations on a theme. :)

It sounds like an efficient use of space. Its tough to get the clones -> to veg -> to flowering co-ordinated without having some monsters. Certainly when mixing say a 9 week strain with a 13 week one.

No problem man, trust me it's not hard once you see it done, you could do it just fine, you have the skills... since I'm only using a 400 my veg is pretty damn short, they get about 10 days to establish some roots after transplant then BANG into flower they go...

So long as you can look at the plants and tell what it needs, mixing a lot of different strains isn't that bad. It also helps using a medium where salt buildup isn't a huge problem,, eventually I really want to switch to coco, but my promix will have to do for now...

Its temping to have a go again :)

and I like the 10 days -> roots -> in she goes. I never liked anything over 2 ft to go in. Which meant no more than 5 girls per 400w.

With such a short veg period have you seen much salt build ups? White Widow was one that comes to mind as being sensitive and needed the EC to be increased at a slower rate than say NL#5 (nute thirsty).

Coco does seem really flexible too, NatHi's grow put that medium on my radar. I heard it does hold moisture exceptionally well and the only question I had was should it be hit with perlite to "air it out" a bit.

Im new to growing so i have a few questions for Lune. How would the potting bags drain? How would you flush your plants in those bags?

BB, I use a mix of fine grind coir coco, 1"x1" chunk type coco, and perlite.

The best thing I've found about this mix is that when I harvest a plant; I just have to rinse the medium with clean water to prepare it for the next planting, no muss no fuss:>)

They drain just fine... they have holes on the bottom. About 10 days-2 weeks before harvest I'll run about a gallon through each to clean em, and my feeding schedule is simple just feed/plain water/feed/plain water... it keeps em happy. I might not be pushing each individual strain to its full potential but they all stay healthy without much effort. Some time this summer I'll find the money for a proper ppm meter so I can really dial in this setup fully...

edit: And just so ya know, I'm using 1 gals this time and not the 3 gals like those bags are... 3 gals a a little big for a 400 unless your growing em bigger...
