yeah there are some good sounding tracks on those albums.... man, i'm pretty bummed that i dont have anything of his except what i've downloaded, except for a burned disc of dangerdoom. i asked for both madvillainy for christmas as well as some mos def and some talib kwelli....hopefully i'll get them all (also asked for primus, rasputina, and placebo, but thats a bit irrelevant to the topic at hand)
Hey nesta, merry xmas bro: http://rapidshare.com/files/35865584/madvillain_-_madvillainy.rar.html break of dawn is my anthem.... :spliff:
Aesop rock is good, saw him this year too, my boy actually broke off a sack for someone in his crew. I've seen most of the weathermen crew live, cage a couple times, aesop once, yak ballz twice, tame1 once, elp once. Aesop elp and tame1 are the only once I listen too these days, cage's last album was hurt and I heard that someone from hatebreed is producing his next album (WTF?). Nothing against yak ballz, I just never really got into the guy.
one of the best today. Check out Madlib and the beats he makes for other mc's. Also Madlib raps as Quasimoto, speeding his voice up. sounds crazy. Anyway I love all their shit.
I never cared for Aesop but my cousin is all about him. Same with Lord Quasimoto. I never met any of them though but I've met Vinne Paz and Stoupe and my cousin got to talking with Viruoso at a bar once. I remember when he had Vinnie's phone number, dude answered in Arabic and then started talking in English just like he raps  We just made up a lie and tried to see if he would fall for it, and he did
i've only heard one of aesop rock's songs, and only once at that, and i didnt care for it at the time but i've had friends who really liked him and i'd give his stuff another shot for sure. i dunno though thanks for the link lune, its downloading now still hope i get the actual cd though, i like listening to music in the car....especially when stoned
I love the illest villain around. My only complaint was the time time I was blasting America's Most Blunted and my mom walked it. For some reason the lyrics, "MARI-JUANA...MARI-JUANA," made her uncomfortable. Thank god I wasn't high at the time or she would have beat my ass.
