Baby, please don't go - John Kay & the Sparrow. Of the selftitled album from 1969. Seriously heavily recommended to Steppenwolf fans! It's at least as good as their first two albums. :D

It's always nice to hear a John Lennon song, espcially when you haven't listened to him in some time and you hear it and you're like YAY and it makes you just wanna sing. Sorry bout the rambling...

Listening to Rhys Crimmin's Can't Judge a book.
He's an unkown artist here in the states, but starting to recieve some fame down under. check out his myspace. It's www.myspace.com/rhyscrimmin

The Idle Race's music is late 60's sunshine psychedelic-pop. The leader of the band was Jeff Lynne, who later went on to join The Move and form Electric Light Orchestra

I've only heard of them through friends, I've never actually heard any of their music

Hoodoo man blues is a fantastic album. I don't know more studio albums of him yet, but I have a live album of Buddy Guy with him as well, with a great version of Help me on it. Not my favourite version though, and the rest of the album is also pretty good, but not one of my favs so I don't know if I'd recommend it
You surely can't go wrong with Hoodoo man blues (1965). :)
