Josh I told you about a huge needle but the 2 hour thing- well, it could be just an hour... but I heard that through the grapevine too... you can do it... teehee

Yeah Ducklette (heh).... I give blood every three months and it's no big deal but plasma is different... they put the blood back into you and just take the plasma.....

 

For plasma they pump the blood out, get the plasma from it, then pump the plamsmaless blood back into you. It's quite a freaky process.

It's way different and that's why people DONATE blood and people get PAID to give plasma.

yeah I looked it up, American Red Cross' site says it takes 15- 20 minutes longer than giving blood

so the needle is gonna be in you for like 20 minutes at the most

Well, like I said... I heard it... never did it... but why do people watch movies or tv and stuff during it....

Btw.... the last time I gave blood the needle was in me for about a half hour because the tube kept getting fucked up... whereas my friend took about 10 mins..... so 20 more then a half hour is almost an hour..... Maybe it was just my friend's experiences though.....

I think I love needles cause I love that nervous feeling followed by a jolt and then peace when I realize it was really nothing.... audrenaline.

I watched and I'm impatient as hell (I wasn't old enough to do it yet, and had a fear of needles anyway =P)

I don't know, on second thought, I think it would be pretty creepy to see my blood separated into two parts, I don't wanna do it any more, it's kinda freaking me out =P

 

The lady who put the needle in me was so distracted... she kept walking away and she'd come back "hmmm, not much blood is coming out... wait, the tubing was crincled"... then she'd walk away again and repeat times about five. I was almost ready to walk out.... but it was like "hmmm i went this far"..... Yeah, giving blood SHOULDN'T take that long.....


I think they are lying.
