I blame the MLS and its major cock suckage for American's lack of interest in football. Lakers must win at home. They've had a good rest, and the MVP just ain't gonna loose the first one. I'm not going to miss that game for the world though. I wonder if Fisher is quick enough to guard Parker... he might be able to keep him out of the lane, but Parker will probably have a lot of easy mid-rangers. I also do not know who they'll put on Duncan since they wouldn't want Gasol to get in foul trouble early, and puting someone like Turiaf or Odom on his is just ridiculous. I expect a good game by Radmonovich and some bench production by Vujacic. On the Spurs front Oberto could be a factor on some plays since Duncan will probably be double teamed in the post. I wonder if they'll put Bowen on Kobe. They should.
i really wouldn't just blame the MLS...theres a huge stigma associated with soccer in the US. american football is pushed. its similar to rugby in the sense of the US standing in world play
The Lakers don't have a point guard like Tony Parker, and I think you're really going to see good things come out of Ginobli this series. It seems the further into the series Ginobli get's the better he gets. Among the purest clutch playersI've ever seen. I was thinking they'd have Gasol on Tim Duncan, but you're right about the foul considerations. It just seems that if Duncan has the ball, he can usually puts it to who he wants to. There might be times when they'll have to double team Duncan. The Spurs do have a pretty good defense against Kobe. As much as their can be. Bowen and Oberto. It's going to be a great game. And like I said, I am a little worried about the SPurs playing in LA with so little rest.
if Parker gets free reign over the paint, it's going to be pretty hard to stop the Spurs. Gasol did pretty good against Duncan last time they played which gave the Lakers the #1 ranking out west, so we'll see about that. and if Kobe stays Kobe, well, he's Kobe haha. but no one can guard parker on the lakers, and the spurs got some great shooters who'll hurt you when parker dishes on a drive i'm excited for this matchup
Whooooo the fuck are Man United? Whoooooo the fuck are Man United? You'll Never Walk Alone!!!!!!!!!!! *cheers for the other team*
man, 2 pts for Kobe in the 1st half....i dont' have cable, so can't watch the game, but thats shocking
Well, the Spurs are gettin' it done on Kobe... 2 points in the half. I can't watch the damn game though... blackout in my area, only like...3rd one this year when it comes to basketball... dammit. Oh well. I still got Yahoo Sports game updates.
That's what I'm using too. And why I'm here instead of not. And yeah, like I said, I think the Spurs have a really good anti-kobe guard going, and if they can keep Kobe and Gasol from having there game, the Spurs have it. The Spurs do really well when they can keep a game at their own pace, and they can speed it up when they need to also. The Lakers have to keep the gas on for their offense to work. The Spurs are just such a solid team. When Parker, Ginobli and Duncan are there on the court, I don't think anybody in the NBA plays as well together as those three. Still a long game left.
And also I feel that whoever wins, the western conference will again beat the eastern conference. Sorry Fitz. You Boston boys don't know how to Ball.
Yeah, this is the REAL final of the NBA. Neither Boston or Detroit stand a chance against either of these two teams. Anyhow... Kobe managed to EXPLODE.
Yeah, yeah, yeah... Boston fan. Not near enough chemistry on that team, no matter how much of an awesome person and player KG is. Plus, I seem to have developed the same passionate hatred towards Boston as I have towards the Yankees and current Real Madrid... they just bought a team... it's ugly...
Hell, I think that I might have overestimated the Celtics before these playoffs. I predicted a 4-1 victory over the Hawks, imagine that!
