thatd be even more kickass if they did, i doubt im gonna get to go to bonaroo though cuz we're moving this summer(again! 3rd time in 4 years) and i think ill be too busy. i wonder how many pages we have to make this thing before it gets to be a sticky

well my dad is retiring(finally) and he said we are moving back to Virginia, which is fine by me cuz i know plenty of people there, especially potheads

Hi, im Joe....and i havent had a drink in...oh wait, wrong forum.

I live in the mountains of Virginia and probably smoke too much weed, but oh well.


In any case, Bonnaroo is gonna be great this year. Not as sold out as i thought i was going to be. Ive been for the past two years, and both times were fuckin great. I doubt they will add the dead tho. If the dead were to play it would be one of the main acts, but fuckin dave mathews took that spot. I dont think Widespread should get two nights either. I wish they would add some djs or more electronic music. They should bring back Amon Tobin, or add Squarepusher. And hopefully buckethead will show up at some point. But it will be a good festival.

 

I actually heard somewhere (I think on the music forum, but I'm not sure) that the Bonneroo name got sold to Clear Channel. If that's true then fuck bonneroo as far as I'm concerned.

 

thats awesome! its sounded like you reeeally hate living in texas, but it seems like some of your friends in virgina are being assholes to you, or the reverse, i have no idea. anyway good luck and i hope everything goes well!

Yeah, Buckethead was definately one of my favorites last year. I had never seen him live before..it blew me away.

Whats up. I'm Spencer. I've been living in Texas for about 6 months or so now. I enjoy smoking pot, playing guitar, playing frisbee golf, and drinking with buddies. I've been smoking for about 3 years now and still going strong . Hopefully I'll be transfering to a 4 year university next fall.

 

If you ever get a chance, check out colonel claypools bucket of bernie brains. I saw them in Asheville, NC and it was probably the best show ive ever seen. Buckethead is the best guitarist alive.

Well, I guess I'll jump in.

I'm Brandon, live in the Detroit suburbs (a curse on suburbia and all it's horridness!). As you can tell, I hate it here, and Im sorta planning on leaving this summer for the road. Really a very vague plan right now tho. For now, I'm just working since I dropped out of college. With all my friends away at school (and one in Germany) I'm pretty bored a lot, the forums are most of my community interaction besides work. Fortunately I have cool coworkers, so that's good.

Um, lets see... Oh! I'm taking a break from the herb, may be a long one, may not be, I can never say. I try to plan for a month off, but with no real reason to do so, it's hard to keep to it. I mostly do it to prove to myself that I can.

Now...whats this I hear about Bonaroo selling out to ClearChannel? Fuck a dead bear! I never even got to go, and now I have to boycott it? Dammit! A curse on ClearChannel and all it's subsidiaries. Fucking globalized corporatized piece of shit world we live in! (sorry 'bout that, been a little edgy lately...break from weed and all...haha).

I need to get back to nature...
