Marijuana Math Day

yeah teachers can be your best friend if you know how to play politics with em. Last year in history i had a teacher who kinda treated me like an asshole in the begining of the year cuz i dress hiphop and im kind of a showoff and what not but then once he learned that i was intelligent(at least when its history, i suck at most other subjects.) and that I did my homework on time and got straight A's in his class he started givin me more and more slack. near 1/2 way thru the year i could skip whenever and jsut get the homework from him the next day and he wouldnt care i, and if anyone slept in his class hed start yellin at em but hwen i slept he just let me sleep, one day i just got up and asked a friend to switch seats wiht me so ic ould sit by my girlfriend and he didnt care cuz i was a good student. We were mad cool cuz i was a good student and we both listened to rap and were both black belts. so it just goes to show you, If you treat teachers with respect and you know how to play politics then most of em will give you respect and cut you some slack.

(it got kinda wierd at the end of the year he got real mean to everybody, had reallly red eyes all the time, and he got fired for choking a chick who had accidently stepped on his foot....general concensus was that he had gotten off his medication(unknown) but that might've been jsut a rumor.)

 

You'll find that's true of the working world too. Don't fuck around with office politics (which exist everywhere, not just offices), do your job (and do it well) and you'll usually be fine. Unless your manager is an ungrateful asshole, the unpleasable kind. Then your fucked. Of course, you might get a real cool boss where you don't even have to do much and it's all cool, but usually it's somewhere inbetween.

 

My one teacher she's kick ass. She teaches English/Journalism (I have her for Jour) and she head of the school paper, but yeah. She's from Pa but she moved to Maine for college and she taught there...she's been to The Great Went and a few Grateful Dead shows before Jerry died, but it's funny we talk about drugs (the whole class knows I smoke pot, they are cool with it) and she has never given her own opinion on drugs. She has talked of smoking ciggerates and how that if you do it, you should be able to in public, but never about her own drug opinions. It's funny.
