The Geneva Conventions do not include exemptions for when you are fighting 'bad' countries like the USA. They apply always.

You make it sound like in any war, there should be a decision who the 'bad' country is, and then that country's enemies get to commit as many war crimes as they want.

As always Willow, all consuming hatred of the USA is the only principle you stand for.

i'm only responding to the video thing....i haven't read through anyone's arguements or whatever, since everyone gets so riled up about this shit....

All i have to say is why the hell do people act so surprised and shocked when things like this are revealed??? You can't act like senseless masacres, tortures and slaughter DON'T happen in a war. What do you think happens when you're sent out to destroy a nation? When those who are submitted to violence have the chance to revenge, they take it with a passion.

People, the media, THE PRESIDENT---> everyone needs to stop acting like war is full of love and flowers. This is only a small fraction of what's going on over there. Imagine what DOESN'T get caught on tape.

So by PB's standard we had no right to attack Nazi Germany. Clearly they had every right to wage war of aggression to further what they saw as their vested interests and the rule of law be damned. Nevermind that PB's pure and blameless Washington heros set the example for disregard of more than half a century of commonly accepted principle that war waged against another nation without provocation or threat is ILLEGAL, and nevermind that Guantanemo remains a glaring slap in the face to the standards of just treatment of prisoners of war. Hell just call them terrorists, even without any proof, and detain them indefinitely.

    What a deluded fool.

Please point out where I said this, you crackpot.

Although interestingly, Willow has said she would not have supported the US in the war on Nazi Germany. Why don't you ask her about that? And maybe she can ask you about the Kurdish genocide which apparently didn't happen according to your excellent conspiracy websites.

I know why. Because they only thing you two have in common is hating America, and that's all it takes to get along here. No matter how contradictory or incompatible your views are, you will never criticise each other.

Oh go take a flying leap and take your Rove inspired "anti-America" BS with you with you go. If anyone hates our nation and all it was founded upon it is sycophants like yourself who cheer as the singularly most corrupt in modern US history dismantles our formative precepts at home and systematically returns the world to the age of wanton imperialism and war of aggression abroad.

The happy dupe with his bag of right wing soundbites and jingoistic slogans is all you truly are.

To bad they did not have a picture of what happened to the Marines buddy the day before. There was an insergent laying on the floor in another building. A marine went over thinking he was wounded. When he went to move the man a bomb the man had planted on him went off killing both the man and the marine. Funny, I did not see them talk about that on CNN. When your life is on the line, and you are fighting men who glory in killing themselves and as many others that they can take with them, it's hard for me to fault the actions of our people. War is never simple, and when your in the middle of it, it's even harder to understand.

Well like I said on another post the marines friend went to help an insergent the day before. As it turned out, the insergent had planted a bomb on himself. So when the marine went over to help him, the insergent detenated the bomb which kill him and the marine. War is never simple, especially when you are fighting men who glory in killing themselves, and as many as they can take with them. As I said before I did not see this story aired on CNN.
